Weeks after being arrested in Nashville, Morgan Wallen took the stage at Stagecoach, one of the year's biggest festivals.
As The Blast has reported, the 'Last Night' singer was arrested late Sunday, April 7, after he threw a chair from the sixth floor of Eric Church's new bar and restaurant. He was charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and booked early Monday, April 8.
He is due in court on May 3.
Morgan Wallen Issues Apology Following Arrest
It is unclear what led the 'Whiskey Glasses' singer to throw the bar chair, but he has since released a statement.
"I didn't feel right publicly checking in until I made amends with some folks," he stated in a post shared to X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. "I’ve touched base with Nashville law enforcement, my family, and the good people at Chief’s. I'm not proud of my behavior, and I accept responsibility."
He added, "I have the utmost respect for the officers working every day to keep us all safe. Regarding my tour, there will be no change."
Days after his apology, he performed on one of the country's biggest stages.
Morgan Wallen Performs At Stagecoach With Post Malone
Morgan Wallen closed out the 2024 Stagecoach on Sunday, April 28, with several of his number-one hits. He also shocked the crowd by bringing out guest artists, including Post Malone, Hardy, Eric Church, Bailey Zimmerman, and Ernest.
The most talked about performance was when Morgan Wallen and Post Malone premiered their new joint single, 'I Had Some Help,' a song that the two have been teasing for weeks.
“I had some help / It ain’t like I can make this kind of mess all by myself / Don’t act like you ain’t help me pull that bottle off the shelf / Been deep in every weekend, if you couldn’t tell / They say teamwork makes the dream work / H-ll, I had some help," the lyrics go.
While they performed the song live for the first time, there is still no release date for the single, leaving fans anxiously waiting to stream what is already being dubbed as summer's biggest hit.

The performance comes one day after Post shared a 17-second clip on his social media, teasing fans of the upcoming song.
Morgan Wallen Arrested After Throwing A Chair
Of course, Wallen's name has been in the media for the last several weeks after throwing a chair off the sixth floor of a bar. Around 11:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, Morgan Wallen was arrested and booked after he nearly hit police officers with the chair.
Following the arrest, fans are questioning if Wallen has a drinking problem, with one source claiming "he doesn't know when to stop."
"Morgan is generally a nice, fun person to hang out with, but when he gets going he doesn't know when to stop," the insider told PEOPLE. "Morgan and alcohol [are] a problem, and it's been a problem that keeps coming back around."
The April 7 arrest is not the first time the 'Whiskey Glasses' singer has been put in handcuffs. In 2020, he was booked on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
Morgan Wallen Goes To Rehab
A few years ago, Morgan Wallen revealed that he completed a 30-day rehab program.
“That used to be my warm-up — to get half-lit: ‘I’m going out there, and we’re going to go have fun.’ Now, that is not the way I approach it,” he told Billboard. “I used to be scared to even think about what it would be like to play a show without drinking: ‘That sounds terrible. Why would I ever do that?’ And now I’m almost scared to wonder what it’d be like if I was drunk."
One of Wallen's songs, 'Born with a Beer in My Hand,' seemingly references his sobriety and talks about how alcohol will "be the death" of him.
"Everybody says it's gonna be the death of me / But these days I’m livin' on the side of alive / Just 'cause I smile through my sobriеty / Don't mean it ain't chillin' in the back of my mind / I ain't sayin' I swore it off for good / I’m just sayin’ I'm doin’ thе best I can / But what do you expect from a redneck? / H-ll, I was born with a beer in my hand," he sings in the track.
