A Florida Mayor has slammed the cop who was involved in a body cam interaction with Gisele Bündchen.

The supermodel, notably frightened in the viral footage, lamented to the cop who pulled her over about how a group of people had been following her.

The officer didn't attempt to allay her fears; instead, he dismissed her concerns and told her to "file a report with Miami Beach."

Surfside Mayor Charles Burkett has commented on a body cam footage of a frightened Bündchen and an unidentified Surfside cop.

According to the New York Post, Burkett slammed the cop for his dismissive attitude toward the model, noting that his behavior didn't portray what is expected of a police officer. He said the interaction was "wholly unacceptable," calling the officer out for showing a "dismissive posture."

"I was dismayed yesterday to watch a video interaction of one of our residents speaking to one of our police officers," he wrote in a letter to Surfside Interim Police Chief Henry Doce.

He continued, "As one watches the video, it becomes clear very early in same that the resident is upset and frightened. The frightened resident tells the Surfside officer that she believes a stalker is following her and that she is afraid."

"This response is wholly unacceptable and not reflective of the values, judgment, and service residents expect from their police," Burkett noted. "On the contrary, our police department's paramount job is to keep our residents safe!"

"The dismissive posture towards a resident who is clearly in distress is everything we do not want to see in the way our police interact and serve our residents," he added.

In the video, Bündchen cried and complained about a person trailing her to the officer, lamenting how she had "nowhere to go" as she was pulled over in Miami-Dade County.

The officer said he was going to give her a "courtesy" pass, to which she explained she was trying to "stay (away) from that guy."

"He's like, stalking me," she claimed before bursting into tears.

Bündchen told the officer that she was "tired" and had "nowhere to go," adding, "Everywhere I go, I have these f--king guys after me. Nothing protects me. I can't do nothing. I just want to live my life."

Before being pulled over by a cop, Bündchen was earlier spotted checking out renovation works on her $11.5 million Indian Creek mansion with her boyfriend, Joaquim Valente.

Bündchen and Valente had previously sent rumor mills into overdrive after the Jiu-Jitsu instructor was pictured with the supermodel on multiple vacations with her family.

He was seen paddleboarding, jogging, riding horses, and hitting the gym with her, but she'd claimed there wasn't anything going on between them at the time.

According to People magazine, a source revealed that they'd, in fact, been dating since June last year but opted to keep it low-key because Bündchen preferred privacy.

"They're taking it slow. They started out as great friends first. She's very private about this and wanted to keep it quiet while they got to know each other," the insider shared.

Another source claimed Valente was a breath of fresh air for her during her divorce battle with her ex-husband, Tom Brady.

"He was a huge comfort for Gisele while she went through her divorce. Their friendship turned romantic after the divorce," the source said.

Gisele Bündchen Got Emotional As She Discussed Her Divorce

The Brazilian beauty was moved to tears last month as she addressed rumors that her estranged husband's football career was what sent their marriage crashing.

In a clip of her conversation with Robin Roberts at the time, she was asked about her well-being almost two years since her marriage with Brady ended, to which she became emotional.

Bündchen tried to hold back her tears as she turned away from the camera, asking, "Can I have a little moment?"

She went ahead to explain that she was hurt by the rumors, calling the claims "the craziest thing" she had ever heard.

In the emotional interview with Roberts, Bündchen shared that she is very supportive of her ex-husband achieving his goals, noting that she wants him to be the "happiest" person in the world.

"If there's one person I want to be the happiest in the world, it's him, believe me," Bündchen said. "I want him to achieve and to conquer. I want all his dreams to come true. That's what I want, really, from the bottom of my heart."

Bündchen and Brady were married for 13 years before dissolving their marriage in October 2022. They claimed the split was amicable and that they would continue co-parenting their children.
