Ariana Grande stunned fans with a rare swimwear display toward the start of the global pandemic, jetting out to Utah for a luxurious break and enjoying what were likely her first proper travels since COVID-19 began in March 2020. In Instagram photos shared in August of that year, the 30-year-old singer showed off a cute, mint-green bikini as she flaunted her curves in the sunshine, also melting fans with her dimples as she snapped selfies against a dramatic canyon backdrop. Alongside winding up front-page news for her bikini look, Ariana made headlines for choosing to stay at the five-star Amangiri resort, a destination also adored by makeup mogul Kylie Jenner and fellow singer Miley Cyrus.

Soaking up the sunshine as she enjoyed her vacation with then-husband Dalton Gomez, Ariana stunned her fans with a closed-eye smile as she highlighted her cleavage and petite arms and shoulders. Opting for a skimpy triangle bikini top in ribbed, mint-green fabrics, the "yes...and?" hitmaker turned her head to the right, angling up toward the sun and using her right hand to hold her phone.

Allowing shade to cover most of her chest in her first selfie, Ariana returned all sunkissed and golden tan for a sun-drenched version of the same look, this time flashing some of her many tattoos as she sizzled under beating rays. Rocking her signature high ponytail, the R.E.M. Beauty founder showcased her gorgeous features as she enhanced them with a little matte makeup, with the bronzer finish perfectly matching the parched desert setting.
Grande posted the selfies to her Stories, but fans on social media platforms have kept the photos alive.

More recently, Ariana has made headlines for seeing fans concerned as she showcases a more slender figure. Her followers began remarking on her looking, per their thoughts, too skinny in 2023, which is when she took matters into her own hands on TikTok. Grande, who has limited comments to her Instagram, politely asked fans to stop commenting on her body. In fact, "don't comment on my body, do not reply" are even lyrics in her 2024-released "yes...and?" track.

Addressing her mass following, Ariana stated:
“I don’t do this often. I don’t like it. I’m not good at it,” adding: “But I just wanted to ... talk a little bit about what it means to be a person with a body and to be seen and to be paid such close attention to. ... I think we should be gentler and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies, no matter what. If you think you’re saying something good and well-intentioned, whatever it is — healthy, unhealthy, big, small, this, that, sexy, not sexy — ... we should really work towards not doing that as much.”
