Taylor Swift Has Reportedly Said Her 'Final Word' To Kim Kardashian With 'thanK you aIMee'

Taylor Swift has put her feud with Kim Kardashian behind her with the release of her song "thanK you aIMee" from her album "The Tortured Poets Department."

Since the release of the song, Kardashian has remained silent on the matter but faced backlash. She lost Instagram followers and was bombarded by Swifties urging her to apologize.

Swift is reportedly ready to put her long-standing feud with Kardashian behind her. According to a source who spoke to Us Weekly, Swift's new song "thanK you aIMee" is the last time she will talk about the incident.

The insider emphasized that "Taylor has moved on and is not looking back. The song is her final word."

The SKIMS founder also reportedly wants to "move on" from the feud and has not publicly spoken about the diss track.

According to another source who spoke to People Magazine, Kardashian "doesn't get why [Swift] keeps harping on it," as "It's been literally years."

Following the release of the "thanK you aIMee" track, Kardashian lost over 100,000 followers on her Instagram.

The reality TV star also faced backlash from Swift's fans, known as Swifties, who flooded her Instagram comments with mentions of the song "thanK you aIMee" while urging her to apologize to Swift.

One person commented under Kardashian's post: "You should've apologized when Kris had asked you to. Always listen to your mom Kim, learn from Kylie."

Another added, "Kim went radio silent. For once, she's off the internet. This is hilarious."

The feud between the "Cruel Summer" singer and  Kardashian started in 2016 when Kanye West, then married to the reality TV star, referenced Swift in his song "Famous." In the track, West rapped, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b--ch famous."

Swift promptly expressed her disapproval of being referred to as a "b--ch," leading Kardashian to share a recorded phone conversation between Swift and West on Snapchat. The audio suggested Swift had consented to the lyrics; however, she later clarified that West had only mentioned the "sex" line during their conversation, not the "b--ch."

In a revealing interview with Time magazine last year, Swift opened up about the leaked audio that led her to withdraw from the public eye for several months, describing it as a deeply traumatic experience that took her "down psychologically to a place [she has] never been before."

"I pushed away most people in my life because I didn't trust anyone anymore. I went down really, really hard," she confessed, likening the ordeal to a "career death." Swift also didn't hold back in her assessment of West, whom she referred to as "trash."

On another song titled "Loml," Swift offers fans a glimpse into her past relationship, with many speculating that it references her breakup with Joe Alwyn.

In the chorus, the 34-year-old sings: "If you know it in one glimpse, it's legendary / You and I go from one kiss to getting married / Still alivе, killing time at the cemеtery / Never quite buried / In your suit and tie, in the nick of time / You low-down boy, you stand-up guy / You Holy Ghost, you told me I'm the love of your life / You said I'm the love of your life / About a million times."

While the chorus captures Swift singing about her ex professing her as the love of his life numerous times, as the song progresses, the pop star reveals that her former partner has become the "loss" of her life.

In another track, "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart," Swift opens up about her heartbreak and determination to persevere and not let her sadness hold her back.

Fans speculate that the song may reference the singer's breakup with Alwyn, particularly given the timing of their split in April 2023, shortly after she embarked on her Eras Tour.

Swift is set to resume her Eras Tour and is gearing up for a four-night run in Paris from May 9 through 12.

In anticipation, she shared a video of her preparations on YouTube Shorts, sparking speculation among fans about possible additions to "The Tortured Poets Department" editions.

The YouTube clip is set to "Fortnight," the album's lead single, aligning with the European tour's imminent start. Viewers also noticed the background dancers sporting top hats and canes, potentially hinting at fresh wardrobe choices.

The European leg of the Eras Tour will extend through the summer, culminating in a five-night engagement in London in August. Swift will then embark on a final round of North American shows, including stops in Miami, New Orleans, Indianapolis, Toronto, and Vancouver.
