Class is now in session at Jenelle Evans' home as she recently started homeschooling after pulling her kids from school.
The former "Teen Mom 2" star broke the news in a lengthy Instagram post, sharing why she decided to take her children's education into her own hands. Simply put, something shady is going on at her kids' school.
Jenelle Evans Will Homeschool Her Kids Until Summer
In the social media post, Evans filmed herself at home looking incredibly radiant despite her current status as a homeschool teacher for her kids. She noted that fans had noticed her absence on the platform and dived into why she hadn't been filming as much lately, saying:
"Life update, so basically, yeah, I have pulled my kids out of school for the rest of the school year, and I'm going to be homeschooling them. Why? Because I found out their school is not safe."
Evans stressed that she wouldn't explain what made the school unsafe for her kids; however, until the problem was fixed, her children would learn from her at home.
She revealed her plans to take them to the children's museum that day, noting their schedule featured doing educational stuff until Summer starts. This means the homeschooling system will continue for about a month.
The Proud Mother Feels Her Children Need A Break

The concerned mother doubled down on her decision being what's best for her kids until the Summer break arrives, saying: "So until then, I just want to keep them safe. I want to keep them at home. I want to keep my eye on them." She added:
"I think that's just what's best for them right now. Life has been way too stressful for us, and I feel like they need a break, so we're gonna do homeschooling. It's gonna be fun."
So far, per Evans' narrative, homeschooling is paying out for her kids as she recalled their fun and educational experience at the aquarium. "They had a blast. They learned a lot," she claimed before sharing more details about their next class.
"And today, like I said, we're going to go to the children's museum, and they're gonna learn about science, gravity, waterfalls, tornadoes, weather. So let's go," she said before the clip transitioned to the children's museum, where the family had a great time learning as promised.

Evans received an outpouring of support from fans in the comment section of her post, with the majority applauding her decision to homeschool her kids. One IG related to the update from a similar experience, writing:
"As a former homeschool mom, I am very proud of you. So many in your comments have a distorted idea of education."
The comment received Evans' appreciation, a different tone from her response to a critic who claimed her children would fall behind with field trips as their education. The doting mom fired back writing:
"They are homeschooling for 1 month, then their summer starts. They will be just fine."
Another supporter noted the mother's radiant appearance, stressing, "Can anyone see how happy she looks and she seems more relaxed?" A third echoed similar sentiments, claiming:
"Jenelle has always been a great parent, and she shouldn't be bullied by anyone."
Does Evans' Homeschooling Have Anything To Do With Her Custody Battle?

Evans' comment section had a few negative nancies and curious fans who wondered why her children's school was suddenly unsafe. While the reason remains unclear, it comes a month after The Blast reported about her ongoing custody battle with her ex-husband.
The media personality filed to end her marriage to David Eason after six years and dropped severe allegations about his behavior as a father. According to her documents, her ex was a terrible parent to their daughter, Ensley, and he didn't deserve to have joint custody.
Evans stressed that she deserved full custody of Ensley as she "is a fit and proper person to have primary physical custody of the minor child." The documents alleged:
"At nearly all times, plaintiff has been responsible for the minor child's daily needs and has been the only parent who researched, evaluated, selected and followed through with the minor child's doctor's treatment providers, extracurricular and enrichment activities."
Jenelle Evans Requested For Her Ex's Submission To Mental Health Test
Aside from painting herself as a mother who strives for Ensley's well-being, Evans bashed her ex-husband as someone who couldn't spend quality time with their daughter without supervision.
She stressed that it was in her daughter's best interests that she gained full custody while Eason's time with the little girl should be determined by his mental stability. Her request read:
"Defendant's visitation and or custodial time be predicated on a mental health assessment to ensure his fitness and ability to care for the minor child."
