Kourtney Kardashian reportedly worked hard to get help for her ex-partner, Scott Disick, who lost significant weight after allegedly using Ozempic.
The reality TV star is reportedly helping Scott because of their three kids so they don't lose their father. Scott decided to get help after fans speculated that his weight loss was because of an illness or drug use.
He is now working with a nutritionist to get his health back on track. His well-being became a topic online after an episode of "The Kardashians," featuring him and Khloe Kardashian, where they discussed his health since his back injury.
Kourtney Kardashian Is Helping Her Ex-Partner Get Better For Their Kids
Insiders recently revealed to the DailyMail that Kourtney stepped in after Scott's significant weight loss made her worry that their three kids could lose their father. This was caused by fans' reactions on social media last month to his shockingly thin face and figure.
The insider said, "Kourtney knows the importance of a father in your life – and she also knows what it is like to lose a father, and Scott knows too. Kourtney has been worried about him - she does when it pertains to their kids. She wants to see Scott as healthy as possible. Her kids need a father."
They further shared that the reality star decided to send "some tough love to Scott to help him improve."
They also said that if Scott did not agree to get help, Kourtney would "have gone full force" on him. The insider added, "But Kourtney has her own life, so she mainly went through others to get his attention."
Fan Reactions To Scott Disick's Photos Pushed Him To Get Help
According to the news outlet, Scott decided to get medical help for his Ozempic use shortly after rumors spread online that his bony appearance was because of an illness or drugs.
The speculation was because he's been open about his struggles with drug abuse in the past. However, Scott reportedly started using Ozempic to help with managing his weight gain.
The businessman gained weight significantly as he recovered from a back injury, which he got from a car crash in 2022.
Fans recently expressed their concern about Scott's health when pictures of him at a West Hollywood restaurant went viral. Shortly after, he went viral again for his appearance while out for dinner at Nobu with his kids.
Scott Disick Is Reportedly Working With A Nutritionist
After the public outcry, Scott reportedly sought a nutritionist to work on his fluctuating weight.
An insider said, "Scott recognized that he needed to stop taking Ozempic after seeing the photos of himself and the public outcry over his weight loss. He thought he looked good because he was thinner again – not realizing that this was not healthy."
They explained that the nutritionist is helping Scott reach a healthy weight, not the size he was before.
"Scott has been incredibly attractive and fit his entire life and is not having the best time accepting that age is catching up with him," the insider added.
His Health Was Discussed On 'The Kardashians'
Scott's weight loss and health became a trending topic after an episode of the Hulu reality show The Kardashians aired. The episode featured a discussion between Scott and Khloe Kardashian, who have been longtime friends.
In the episode, Khloe visited Scott to express her worries about his health. During their conversation, the businessman admitted to her that he had stopped doing the physical therapy routine for his back injury recovery.
He also later spoke to his doctor and shared that he hadn't been able to "run around" and had gained weight.
Khloe Kardashian Tried To Motivate Scott Disick
After learning what Scott said about his well-being, Khloe noted that her friend needed a pep talk to get him back on track.
She said, "I think Scott needs a little pep talk because this is probably the unhealthiest I've seen him. He's barely mobile, and it's all from his back, so that wouldn't make anyone feel good."
There were also worries about Scott's health because he has struggled with addiction in the past. The reality star was famously hospitalized after he almost died from alcohol poisoning in June 2020, and before that, he suffered an almost fatal overdose from drug and pill use.
