“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Apollo Nida is back behind bars after violating the terms of his parole while serving his sentence in a halfway home.
According to a representative of the United States Marshals, Nida has been re-arrested only days after being released from custody and placed into a half-way house in Philadelphia.
Nida had a list of rules to follow while living in the halfway home and we’re told he broke technical requirement pertaining to the rules of his release.
It's unclear exactly what rule he violated, but it was enough to alert authorities and get him thrown back in the slammer.
The reality star was taken into custody at the Philadelphia Federal Court House and placed back into the system. He could now remain behind bars until his original release date of October 15, 2019.
As we reported, Nida was spotted last week after his release and was seen with fiancée Sherien Almufti
Nida Sherien have been together since 2017, shortly after Phaedra Parks filed for divorce from the embattled reality star. Sherien, who is a real estate agent in Philly, has been ride or die and frequently visited Nida while in prison.
Strolling around the neighborhood in Philly, the two still looked united and in love, and even wore matching outfits to celebrate his release.
Back in 2014 the reality star was sentenced to 96 months in prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to commit mail, wire and bank fraud.
He appeared on "Real Housewives of Atlanta" for several seasons with his ex-wife Phaedra Parks. The two had a nasty divorce that settled while Nida was locked up for the fraud charges. Parks has moved on herself and is currently dating radio host Tone Kapone.
It's unclear if Apollo will challenge the court's decision.
