Megan Thee Stallion has been accused of harassment by her former cameraman, who also alleges she forced him to watch her have sex.
According to documents obtained by The Blast, the cameraman claims he was once trapped inside a moving vehicle with the 'Not My Fault' artist while she engaged in sexual activity with another woman.
He is now suing the hip-hop star for harassment and a hostile work environment.
Megan Thee Stallion Accused Of Harassment By Former Cameraman
According to the court documents, Emilio Garcia began working for Megan Thee Stallion in 2018 and quit his other job in 2019 to work with the rapper full-time. He worked for her until June 2023, as per the lawsuit.
In or around June 2022, Garcia was traveling on tour with the hip-hop star in Ibiza, Spain. After a night out, both individuals and three other women were riding in an SUV together when "suddenly Stallion and one other woman start[ed] having sex right beside Garcia," the docs state.
Garcia "could not get out of the car as it was both moving, and he was in the middle of nowhere in a foreign country."
Megan Thee Stallion's Cameraman Was 'Mortified'
Garcia claims he was "embarrassed, mortified, and offended throughout the whole ordeal."
The next day, Garcia claims Megan Thee Stallion told him "Don't ever discuss what you saw" before she "berated and directed her fat-shaming comments towards Garcia, such as 'Fat B-tch.'"
The lawsuit was filed on Tuesday, April 23 in Los Angeles County Superior Court. Megan Thee Stallion has yet to comment on the accusations.
Megan Thee Stallion Honored At Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s Spring Into Action Gala
The news of this lawsuit comes just days after the artist was honored at Planned Parenthood of Greater New York’s Spring Into Action gala.
“I want to kick this off by saying: my body, my business,” she said in her speech when accepting the Catalyst for Change Award. “Planned Parenthood is doing such important and impactful work. They’re providing millions across the country with safe and secure sexual reproductive health services, a necessity during this time when women’s abortion rights are under attack."
'I Have A Bigger Purpose To Use My Voice'
“I’ve always felt like it was my responsibility as a public figure very seriously,” she said at the event. “I know I was placed on this Earth to be more than just a musician, and I have a bigger purpose to use my voice to speak out against injustice."
“To think that we live in one of the most progressive countries in the world. I don’t really understand why the U.S. government don’t feel like they got bigger fish to fry than what buns may or may not be in my oven!” the 'Sweetest Pie' singer added.
Megan Thee Stallion Celebrates 'Her Body' And 'Her Confidence'
“Megan’s music celebrates herself, her body, her confidence, and how we as women should put our power and our pleasure first,” Tonya Lewis Lee said of the artist at the Planned Parenthood gala. “She passionately calls for justice, equality, and respect, especially for Black women."
Lee added, "Planned Parenthood of Greater New York knows that we cannot have true reproductive freedom without caring for and listening to Black women and mothers who are disproportionately impacted.”
According to ELLE, the event had raised $1.6 million in critical funds for the nonprofit by the end of the night.
Megan Thee Stallion On Body Positivity
This is not the first time Megan The Stallion has been outspoken about body positivity. At the 2020 AMAs, before she took the stage, she said, “I love my body. Every curve. Every inch. Every mark. Every dimple. It’s decoration on my temple. My body is mine, and nobody owns it but me. And who I choose to let in is so lucky."
She added, "You may not think my body is perfect, and it probably never will be. But when I look in the mirror, I love what I see. So, are you ready?”
The artist then went on to perform her hit, 'Body.'
Plus, at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas two years ago, she told the crowd, “So, look. I don’t know about y’all, but I love my body. I do what I want to with my body, when I want to with my body, with who I want to with my body. Cuz it’s who? My body — oh okay. If you love your body, let me hear you make some noise.”
