Melania Trump is finally offering her support for her husband, Donald Trump's 2024 presidential election bid.
The former first lady returned to the campaign trail and hosted top celebrities, including Caitlyn Jenner and Dr. Oz, at an exclusive fundraiser for Trump at their Mar-a-Lago estate.
Melania has been noticeably absent from the campaign trail after reports suggested she didn't like attending Trump's political events and rallies.
Melania Trump Hosts Private Fundraiser For Donald Trump At Mar-a-Lago
Melania made her grand return to the campaign trail, playing host to some top celebrities and prominent GOP members for the Log Cabin Republicans at her Mar-a-lago residence.
The event, which was held at the Tea Room of the private Palm Beach Club, hosted about 60 guests, with Bill White and Bryan Eure serving as co-hosts.
Celebrities in attendance included Caitlyn Jenner, Dr. Mehmet Oz, Elizabeth Ailes, and other Palm Beach and NYC GOP bigshots.
Ticket prices reportedly went as high as $50,000, with the proceeds being earmarked for Trump and other Republican party candidates' 2024 election bids.
The Event Was Set Up To 'Raise Funds' To Help Target Potential LGBTQ+ Voters
Trump's ambassador to Germany and former director of national intelligence, Richard Grenell, reportedly "presided over the event and introduced Mrs. Trump to the podium."
A source told Page Six that the event was "raising funds to inform voters in crucial swing states about President Trump's LGBT record and his goals for his second term."
"Grenell unveiled [Melania's] leadership role in what will be an unprecedented outreach initiative to gay and lesbian voters… the most significant of any Republican presidential candidate in American history," an attendee shared.
Melania Trump Was Previously Absent From The Campaign Trail
Melania's private event comes as a major boost for her husband's potential second-term bid after she set tongues wagging for her absence from the spotlight and campaign trail.
Until she made a rare appearance with the former president to cast her ballot in the Florida presidential primary, Melania had been absent from the campaign trail. She was last seen supporting Donald's reelection bid at his campaign launch event in November 2022.
She was absent from his election night watch party last month at their Mar-a-Lago resort and is yet to stand by his side at any of his many court appearances over several charges.
In March, a reporter asked her whether she would be returning to the campaign trail, to which she replied, "Stay tuned," with a charming smile.
At the time, MAGA supporters were unsure what the former first lady meant by "stay tuned." However, with her recent event for the Log Cabin Republicans, it is clear that Melania was hinting at her return to the Trump campaign trail.
Melania Trump Has 'Been The Rock' Of The Trump Family
While Trump has been present for every day of his criminal trial in the company of his lawyers, his wife, Melania, has been noticeably absent on each occasion.
This caused many to speculate that the former model was leaving her husband to face his trouble alone.
However, a source close to the couple has revealed that this is not the case and that Melania is "there for him."
"She's not going anywhere. She's there for him," a source told the DailyMail. "They're going through it together. She's been the rock of the family."
She Is 'Ready To Be First Lady Again'
Melania's 180-degree turn is reportedly due to her desire to become the first lady again.
The Slovenian-born former model and her husband recently attended billionaire John Paulson's fundraiser for Trump, which raised over $50 million, as sources claim that the mother-of-one played a major role in the event.
"Melania Trump emerged as the main star at the Republican fund-raiser at John Paulson's $100 million house in Palm Beach," a source told Page Six.
They continued, "The former first lady, who usually appears quite serious in photographs, seemed to never stop smiling Saturday night and was charming and talkative to all the guests . . . She's ready to be first lady again and clearly enjoyed the evening."
"Melania enjoys being a hostess . . . She's very supportive of her husband's campaign and as we get closer to the final months, you can expect to see her more at key events," the GOP tipster added.
