Victoria Beckham Slays On Crutches During Her 50th Birthday Bash

Victoria Beckham reminded the world why she was nicknamed Posh Spice by bringing the glam to her 50th birthday party.

The singer-turned-style icon marked the incredible age milestone with a star-studded party that saw several famous faces try to steal the spotlight. However, no one could outshine the Beckhams, especially the celebrant, who slayed despite her crutches.

Although April 17 marked Victoria's big day, she didn't celebrate the occasion until Saturday evening at the popular private members club, Oswald's, in London's Mayfair district.

As seen in pictures from her arrival, the media personality hobbled into the venue with crutches. However, she looked a bit downcast despite being surrounded by loved ones.

While it is unclear what caused the somber expression on her face, her dress, on the other hand, shined bright like a diamond. For the event, Victoria donned a classy sheer mint green gown designed with ruffles on her shoulders and cinched waist.

The dress also featured subtle ruching and floral details along her waistline, adding elegance to the overall look.

The style icon completed the look with silver and gold bracelets on each wrist, while her long brunette hair was styled in loose waves. Victoria's guests also didn't disappoint in the style department, as seen in pictures shared by Page Six.

Some of the former singer's guests included her bandmates, Emma Bunton, Mel C, Mel B, and Geri Horner, as well as some of Hollywood's finest — Eva Longoria, Tom Cruise, and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

Before hobbling into the party's venue on crutches, Victoria teased fans with her family's stylish appearances on Instagram. She shared a carousel of images, with the first showing the whole clan posing in front of a fireplace.

The men — David Beckham and sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz — stunned in classy black suits except for Cruz, who stood out from the pack in an all-white tux. As for the family's youngest daughter, Harper looked beautiful in a white satin dress.

The slideshow continued with a romantic shot of Victoria and David by the stairway, then a single shot of the birthday girl before another precious snap of the Beckhams.

"Can't wait to celebrate with my friends and family! I love you all so much," Victoria captioned the sweet snap, tagging each of her family's IG accounts.

The long-awaited reunion of Victoria's former girl group, the Spice Girls, finally happened at her 50th birthday bash. Guess who had a front-row seat to their impromptu concert — her ever-supportive husband, David Beckham.

The former professional footballer filmed himself enjoying his wife and her ex-bandmates gleefully singing and performing a choreographed dance to their hit 1997 song "Stop."

"Stop right now. Thank you very much. I need somebody with the human touch. Hey you, you always on the run," the Spice Girls sang, with David lip-syncing along to the lyrics.

Fortunately, Victoria's somber expression from her entrance was long gone, and so were her crutches as she moved her body along to the beat. She doubled down on her happiness in the post's caption, writing:

"Best night ever! Happy birthday to me! I love you all so much! #SpiceUpYourLife."

Victoria's crutches are the result of an accident in February while working out at her home gym. The Blast reported that the fashion designer had updated fans about the injury via an Instagram story.

In the post, the 50-year-old explained that she had fallen during her workout session and injured her foot, which needed icing. However, the situation was more severe than ice could fix.

Weeks later, David updated fans about the severity of the incident with a picture of Victoria's injured foot in a black medical boot. "Apparently, my wife's little accident in the gym was a clean break…." he revealed in the post's caption.

A month before her birthday, The Blast noted that The People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) had turned their sights on Victoria’s fashion brand. The drama began at her Paris Fashion Week show, where PETA activists protested.

These animal supporters interrupted the fashion show to protest the use of animal leather in Victoria’s clothing. Protesters donned white T-shirts with messages like "Turn your back on animal skins" and "Animals aren't fabric."

They also held placards proclaiming "Viva vegan leather" to advocate cruelty-free fashion. Following this complaint, PETA issued a warning to the fashion designer and other brands with a gory video that depicted the cruelty animals suffer to become clothing.
