Trump's hush money trial began on Monday with Jury selections; as of today, 18 jurors made up of New Yorkers have been selected to help decide the fate of the billionaire.

On Friday, Judge Juan Merchan told the recently selected juror, "I expect we're going to begin the trial on Monday."

The judge also instructed the jurors not to discuss the case with others or research it. "There are 18jurors in total," Merchan noted, per CNN., adding that they can not begin the trail "until all are present each day."

The trial of Trump stems from allegations from the prosecution that he committed election interference when he allegedly paid $130,000 in hush money to former adult film star Stormy Daniels to hide his affair with her.

The former president called out Judge Merchan for preventing him from attending the upcoming Supreme Court trial related to the January 6 Capitol rioters.

The "Apprentice" alum branded Merchan a "conflicted" judge, decrying how he seems to be hindering him from attending to other matters.

"He's a very conflicted judge," he said of Judge Merchan. "He won't allow me to leave here for half a day to go to D.C. and go before the U.S. Supreme Court because he thinks he's superior, I guess, to the Supreme Court."

"We've got a real problem with this judge and a real problem with a lot of things having to do with this trial," he continued. "That I can't go to my son's graduation, that I can't go to the U.S. Supreme Court, that I'm not in Georgia or Florida or North Carolina campaigning like I should be...it's perfect for the radical-left Democrats."

"That's exactly what they want," Trump added. "This is about election interference, that's all it's about."

Trump also lamented that he could not attend his son Barron's high school graduation due to the ongoing trial.

"It looks like the judge will not let me go to the graduation of my son who's worked very, very hard," Trump told a crowd of reporters outside the NYC courtroom.

"He's a great student and he's very proud of the fact he did so well and was looking forward for years to having his graduation with his mother and father there, and it looks like the judge isn't going to allow me to escape this scam," the former president added. "It's a scam trial."
