Rihanna Proclaims Love For Bravo, Again!

Rihanna is just like everyone else, at least when it comes to her TV viewing habits. The superstar revealed on a red carpet at the for Fenty x Puma in London that aside from her children, her biggest obsession is reality television.

"My favorite obsession? My kids. After that it's 'Housewives,' 'Vanderpump Rules,' and anything Bravo. Andy Cohen didn't pay me to say that I promise. I just, I’m obsessed.”

Rihanna, who shares two children, RZA and Riot Rose, with A$AP Rocky, has never been shy about her love for reality TV. She famously follows Bravo reality stars like “The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s” Marlo Hampton, “Summer House’s” Mya Allen and Danielle Olivera, “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s” Mary M. Cosby, Whitney Rose, and Heather Gay, “Shahs of Sunset’s” Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi and Mercedes “MJ” Javid, and “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’” Kathy Hilton, among others, on social media.

The singer was even asked in an interview with Interview magazine earlier this month about what types of TV shows she watches.

“I don’t get to watch a lot of TV anymore, but ‘Housewives’ is always my priority,” she told the magazine before launching into her thoughts on some of the drama happening onscreen.

When asked if “The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Monica Garcia should return for another season, Rihanna told Interview, “I mean, if [“Vanderpump Rules’ star] Tom Sandoval can come back, Monica should definitely be able to come back.”

But Rihanna doesn’t just watch reality TV. She’s also friendly with a few reality stars, including “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” veteran Kyle Richards, in real life.

In December of 2023, Richards posted a photo to her Instagram account showing her, her daughters, and Rihanna at Kemo Sabe, a luxury country apparel store, in Aspen, CO.

“"Beautiful inside and out," Richards captioned the post, tagging Rihanna. “Making new memories at Kemo Sabe.”

Back in 2018, Richards dished on another Rihanna encounter during an interview with the Los Angeles Times.

“One of my favorite stories is my daughter was at a karaoke place and someone came in and there’s like a commotion, like a big entourage. She turned around and was talking to her friends and then she felt a tap on her shoulder and she turned around and it was Rihanna. And Rihanna goes, ‘Oh my God, I’m obsessed with you.’ And my daughter started to cry and she goes, ‘I’m so confused, what’s happening?’”

Richards further reflected on why big celebrities like Rihanna become obsessed with reality stars like her and her family.

“I think that for celebrities, especially really big celebrities, it’s not really fun to go out to dinner or drinks with your friends when you’re that famous. So a lot of them really are home a lot and watching reality television. The biggest celebrity, they’re home watching these shows and it’s like being a fly on the wall or watching an accident you can’t turn away from.”

When Interview asked the “Umbrella” songstress whether Richards’ rumored relationship with country singer Morgan Wade was legitimate, Rihanna gave a candid answer.

“I mean, duh. [Laughs] Listen, I love Kyle. It’s weird commenting on her relationship because I don’t know the facts. I just feel like she was able to re-observe her marriage through a new lens. For once, someone else made her feel valued, made her feel like she was cute and quirky and fun and all the great things that maybe were taken for granted before. And that’s why I believe that there’s something with Morgan, because sometimes, it takes that for you to fight for what you deserve.”
