Travis Kelce Slammed By Taylor Swift Fans for Liking Post Featuring Donald Trump

Swifties have reacted to Travis Kelce liking a photo of Sage Steele and Donald Trump at a UFC event.

The post showed Steele shaking hands with the billionaire mogul in one photo, while in another, both were seen smiling at the camera.

In response to the post, many Swifties criticized the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, while others defended him.

Following UFC 299, ESPN host Steele took to her Instagram page to share a picture of her and Trump, among other highlights from the event.

While there was not much ado when she posted it, it has recently garnered attention after Swifties noticed that Kelce "liked" the post.

Many immediately took to social media to react to the post, with quite a number attacking him for the social media action.

"Travis Kelce can eat sh-t for all I care. He's a drunk, xenophobic, fat phobic, Trump-loving, a--hole," one user commented.

"Travis Kelce liking a post from Sage Steele promoting Trump. Not surprised that idiot is MAGA. Could smell MAGA on Travis from a mile away," another person commented.

However, several other users defended Kelce, claiming that liking the post had nothing to do with supporting Trump.

"You trying to imply he supports Trump just because he liked a friend's personal post about her career is absolutely insane when he's publicly called Trump, a racist and protested him," one user commented.

"The fact that you thought it was okay to suggest that Travis likes Trump is utterly bizarre when there's so much evidence showing that not to be true," another person remarked.

Trump once accused Kelce of being a "liberal" in a post on his Truth Social account.

The former president asserted his support for musical artists, writing: "I signed and was responsible for the Music Modernization Act for Taylor Swift and all other Musical Artists. Joe Biden didn't do anything for Taylor and never will."

"There's no way she could endorse Crooked Joe Biden, the worst and most corrupt President in the History of our Country, and be disloyal to the man who made her so much money," he added.

Despite political differences, Trump expressed admiration for Kelce, noting: "Besides that, I like her boyfriend, Travis, even though he may be a Liberal and probably can't stand me!"

The recent backlash comes amid Kelce being slammed for chugging his beer after he and his brother, Jason, received diplomas from their alma mater, the University of Cincinnati.

While Jason was in marketing, Travis received his interdisciplinary studies from the College of Arts and Sciences. Both missed their original graduation ceremonies and were pleasantly surprised with their diplomas while recording an episode of their "New Heights" podcast at the university.

Travis's actions led many to say that he didn't act like a "role model," while others claimed they were "cringe-worthy."

In response, Jason came to his brother's defense, stating that there shouldn't have been any concerns about his behavior since it wasn't an official graduation ceremony.

He wrote on X, "I know it looks like a graduation from the video, but this was actually at the end of a New Heights Live podcast that we put on to raise money for the University's NIL. The university did this to poke fun at my brother and I for never really picking up our diplomas."

Amid the backlash from fans, Travis seems to be focused on blossoming his relationship with Swift.

Recently, the pair were sighted at the yearly Coachella festival in Indio, California. Swift opted for a laid-back look, sporting a green baseball hat featuring the New Heights podcast logo, paired with an all-black ensemble accentuated with a built-in garter. Travis, on the other hand, donned a Happy Gilmore hat complementing his white undershirt, along with a checkered shirt and blue-and-white striped trousers.

The couple appeared to relish the festival experience together, attending performances surrounded by their friends, which included Lorde, Martha Hunt, Camila Cabello, Serayah, Jack Antonoff, and Swift's brother Austin.

More interestingly, the pair was spotted sharing a passionate kiss amidst the crowd during the festival. In another memorable moment, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end was seen lifting Swift into the air, allowing her to get a better view of the crowd during Ty Dolla's set.

According to reports, the couple were "excited" to attend the festival and had the "best of time" there.

"Taylor and Travis were so excited to go to Coachella together," an insider close to the duo told Entertainment Tonight. "They wanted to be there to support their friends and just have fun. They had the best time at the festival and were in their own world, even though so many people were around them.

Another source noted that the couple's appearance at the music festival was the first of many adventures they plan on enjoying together.

The insider said, "The two are continuing to explore their relationship by supporting each other's endeavors and doing what every other couple does, and that's [going] on dates. This is one of many adventures yet to come for the duo."
