Leonardo DiCaprio is so famous, that merely owning a painting immediately raises its value.

Joel Edgerton, who starred in "Warrior" with Tom Hardy, hosted the Inaugural Fundraising Gala for The Fred Hollows Foundation Wednesday night in Los Angeles.

The event, thrown at The Highlight Room by Casa Noble Tequila, included performances from musicians Flea and Seal, and also auctioned off some cool items, including a dinner with Al Pacino, "Twilight" star Robert Pattinson and Edgerton that went for $22,000.

Another lot to bid on included set visits to Martin Scorsese's, "The Irishman" with Robert DeNiro -- two visits sold for $18,000 and $20,000.

The hot item for the night though was the painting formerly owned by Leo. DiCaprio is a huge art buff, so having his golden seal of approval on a work is definitely big. Edgerton himself loved the painting so much he ended up getting the winning bid of $25,000.

Paris Hilton was also there, she just donated $10,000 ... because she's Paris and a baller like that.

The Fred Hollows Foundation was founded in Australia by eye surgeon Fred Hollows and focuses on treating and preventing blindness and other vision problems.
