Derek Fisher's Ex-Wife Furious He 'Exploited' Sick Child on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Candace Fisher claims Derek exploited his daughter Tatum's cancer to gain publicity on "Dancing With the Stars," and she wants him barred from posting anything about their children on social media.

Candace says Derek asked her for permission while he was a contestant on DWTS to allow Tatum to participate in a feature on the show that wanted to discuss her cancer. Candace says she refused, but the show ran a piece on her daughter anyways, and even panned the camera to her in the crowd while she was in tears.

After the incident, Candace RIPPED Derek apart over text message. She wrote, "I think it's shameful and quite obvious that there is no level too low for you to go to play yourself and I don't want the kids to have any part of it."

Derek responded, "So let me get this straight, YOU walking around with my last name, collecting checks fro me, living off my hard work and career earnings, have the nerve to even utter the word exploiting?"

Candace is filing in response to Derek requesting a holiday custody order for the ex-couple's twins. He claims Candace held the kids from him on Halloween.

She agrees with Derek's request for the order, but doesn't agree with his terms, and wants the order barring him from posting about the kids or "exploiting" them. She also wants to work out a drop off point that is not a "gas station."
