Sydney Sweeney Showcases Ballerina Curves On Her Toes

Sydney Sweeney morphed into a ballerina for a jaw-dropping Instagram update in November 2022. Going pretty in pink as she rocked a tutu with a plunging neckline, the Euphoria actress braved standing on her toes as she donned a pair of satin pointe shoes, with the whole shoot coming ahead of that year's LACMA Art + Film Gala. Eyeing up the event for which she donned a tutu-inspired Giambattista Valli Couture minidress, Sydney offered fans the photo shoot version as she slipped into bunhead mode, and she gained over 1.2 million likes for it.

Pulling off a retiré pose as she kept one leg bent, the Hollywood star held one arm out to mirror her leg while modeling one stunning look.

Wearing a skirt and top-effect minidress in soft baby pinks, Sydney showed off her toned legs and slim waist, also upping the ante with a cleavage flash. Completing her look via a bun and a pale pink lip to match her busty dress, Sydney stunned with pale makeup and warming blush, even coordinating her pale pink eyeshadow to her dress.

In a swipe, Sydney showed off the look closer up. Here, fans saw how the bodice part of Sydney's dress was formed entirely of fabric rose petals. In a caption, Sydney wrote: "Last night, feeling haute."

Unfortunately, Sydney quickly made headlines for falling under fire for the post. The ballet technique police were all over her in the comments, pointing out the tiniest of details and, it would seem, how Sydney's ballet wasn't up to scratch. "Not another picture of a non-dancer in pointe shoes… Cringe!" one fan said. Another pointed out the very real risk of going en pointe with no training.

"While she can do whatever she wants for her photos, it can be very dangerous for someone who isn't trained for pointe shoes to just slap on a pair of them and try to dance in them. Especially since the ribbons are not tied correctly, there is a high risk of her hurting herself without the proper training," one user said.

A more recent comment even sees one fan calling the haters "salty."

"Revisiting this a year later because all the salty ballerinas in the comments just keeeep entertaining. Y'all just jealous she has a hot stretched knee and looks cute in her fashion," the fan said.
