'Tiger King' star Joe Exotic isn't letting life behind bars stop him from reaching out for help -- with his latest attempted contact being Ryan Anderson.
As you know, Ryan Anderson married Gypsy Rose Blanchard in a prison wedding last summer while Gypsy served her sentence for the murder of her mother. The two decided to separate three months after she was released.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard And Ryan Anderson Split
Just three months after Gypsy Rose was released from prison, she took to social media to announce her split from Ryan Anderson, whom she married in a prison ceremony in June 2022.
"Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation," the ex-convict shared on her Facebook page. She told her friends that she moved in with her father "down the bayou" and has "the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this."
"I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now, I need time to let myself find… who I am," she concluded.
Joe Exotic Gives Ryan Anderson Advice Amid Separation From Gypsy Rose Blanchard
After Ryan Anderson broke his silence regarding the separation, 'Tiger King' star Joe Exotic commented on Ryan's post, giving him a word of advice.
"Take it from me, prison love never works out well anyways," Joe commented. As you know, in 2022, Joe decided to end his marriage to Dillon Passage. Joe then got engaged to his then-fiancé and fellow inmate John Graham, however, their engagement only lasted a few months.
Joe also asked Ryan for a "shout out" using the hashtag #FreeJoeExotic.
Joe Exotic Begs Gypsy Rose Blanchard For Help
This is not the first time Joe has tried to reach out to Ryan's circle for help. Shortly after Gypsy Rose was released from prison, Joe commented on one of her social media posts. "Help #freejoeexotic," his official Instagram account wrote in a now-deleted post.
As we reported, the Netflix documentary 'Tiger King', exposed Joe Exotic for his poor treatment of zoo animals. Joe was found guilty in 2019 and was convicted of hiring two men to kill his arch-nemesis, Carole Baskin. The 'Tiger King' star was recently re-sentenced to 21 years in prison on a murder-for-hire charge.
Joe previously wrote a letter, claiming he would never stop fighting for his freedom from prison and justice.“The world has to know just how corrupt our justice system is," he wrote. "If I have to be the one to die innocent here fighting for the truth, maybe people around the world will finally speak up for the truth for once.”
Joe has also reached out to Kim Kardashian for legal help.
Ryan Anderson Is Accused Of Being Violent In Relationship With Gypsy Rose Blanchard
A close friend of Gypsy Rose's came out shortly after the separation announcement and accused Ryan of screaming in Gypsy's face to which "Gypsy said that she was afraid he was going to hit her."
"He didn't — but that happened in the past with her mother. So, her first instinct was to tighten up and be prepared," her friend told People.
However, Ryan recently said, "Ya'll will see what really happened on Lifetime," seemingly hinting that those accusations are not true. "We were filming a lot, so stay tuned for that," he added.
He is referring to the upcoming documentary, 'Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up', debuting this June on Lifetime.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard's Dad Wishes She Didn't Move In With Ryan Anderson
Immediately after Gypsy Rose was released from prison, she moved in with her husband, something her dad wished didn't happen.
"I wish she would have came home here and when her being on parole was over, live with him, just live with him, learn him," he told People of his daughter's decision. "She's grown, and she was told what to do all her life."
Adding, "We wish she wouldn't have, but like I told her, if it doesn't work out, I'll be there to help pick up the pieces. I really do hope it does work out. Ryan's a great guy. He loves her for all the right reasons."
He also gave their marriage a "50/50 chance that it's going to work."
"She can be spontaneous and make a quick decision and just jump into things without thinking," he told the outlet.
