Everyone knows that Gordon Ramsay can be tough on chefs, but he also knows how to compliment an amazing chef when he sees one.

In a recently shared TikTok video, Ramsay watches a young chef prepare a tough dish - beef Wellington. It's apparent as he's watching that he's blown away by the 13-year-old's talent in the kitchen.

Gordon Ramsay Stitches A 13-Year-Old Chef's TikTok Video To Share His Thoughts

William, a 13-year-old "self-taught chef," according to his Instagram bio, recently shared a video on social media making beef Wellington. Ramsay caught wind of the video and stitched it as he watched and gave his critique.

As Ramsay watched, he shared his thoughts on William's recipe and how he handled everything.

"You are handling this recipe with such confidence," Ramsay said.

Williams demonstrated searing the beef, chopping mushrooms, shallots, and thyme, and making spinach crepes.

"This is looking very good. Make sure the crepe is nice and thin," Ramsay said as he watched William in action. "Dude, this is looking very good. Seriously, I wasn't cooking like this at 12."

Ramsay then sent out a very special invitation for the young chef.

"In fact, young man, do you know what? This is looking that good," he continued. "I would like to invite you to Hell's Kitchen as my guest. Check your DMs. Well done."

Gordon Ramsay's Video Quickly Went Viral

Ramsay's stitched video quickly went viral with more than 15 million views and 11,000 comments. Viewers were more than just impressed with William's cooking skills.

"The kid impressed the person who doesn't get impressed," one viewer wrote in the comment section. Another added, "Well done William. You caught the eye of the real cheese...Let's gooooo."

At the beginning of William's video, he shared that he wants a million likes. One viewer commented on that saying, "Instead of a million likes he got a deal of a lifetime." (And he did get more than 1 million likes, too!)

Another viewer shared, "Impressing the king of the Beef Welly is no small feat."

William Has Shared Many Other Cooking Demonstrations On Social Media

While it was the beef Wellington demonstration that grabbed Ramsay's attention, William has shared many other videos demonstrating his cooking skills on social media.

A few days ago, William made homemade lasagna from scratch and shared his process on TikTok and Instagram. He demonstrated how he made the dough for the pasta, chopping onions, celery, carrots, and garlic, and mixing all that with the meat and sauce in the pan while cooking.

William demonstrated how he layered the lasagna before putting it in the oven and how it looked after it was baked to perfection.

His video received more than 2.8 million views on TikTok and thousands of comments.

One viewer comically wrote, "This child makes me want to ask my children what they bring to the table."

Another viewer added, "Ok, I get it, when u say 'let's make lasagna,' you mean 'let's MAKE lasagna' from scratch. You ain't playing."

William Also Made Snoop Dogg's Ramen Recipe

William seems to have mastered many tougher recipes, but he also knows how to have fun with more simple recipes. He followed Snoop's ramen recipe and demonstrated it in a viral video. Ingredients needed: ramen noodles, Dorito's, cheese, and beef jerky.

William demonstrated his amazing chopping skills and followed Snoop's recipe exactly as he gave it. When he tried it, he looked a little surprised that it was so tasty.

"I feel like this should have a name," William said after trying a bite. What does Snoop call it? "Zoom zooms and wham whams."

William Was Only Cooking For A Few Months Before Grabbing Gordon Ramsay's Attention!

William shared his first cooking video on Instagram in October. In his first cooking video, he shared his mac-and-cheese recipe.

From that point on, he continued to share cooking demos on both Instagram and eventually TikTok. His recipes include meatballs, fried rice, pizza, burritos, Nutella stuffed pancakes, ice cream (without an ice cream machine and heavy cream), lemonade, donuts, and more.

William also shares some of his cooking videos on his Facebook page and on YouTube.
