A new bombshell accusation is claiming Ryan Anderson made Gypsy Rose Blanchard so scared that she locked herself inside the bathroom one evening.
This latest claim comes after reports surfaced that Ryan was "controlling" and "jealous." He also "constantly guilt-tripped" Gypsy, according to a source close to the ex-convict.
Now, just days after Gypsy announced she was separating from Ryan, more claims are coming forward, with one of Gypsy's close friends detailing an explosive fight the couple had.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Announces Separation From Ryan Anderson
Everyone was shocked when they learned the news of Gypsy and Ryan's separation.
“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents’ home down the bayou,” Gypsy Rose told her fans in a statement posted on her private Facebook page.
“I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this," she continued. "I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”
Days after Gypsy made the announcement, sources close to Gypsy claimed her estranged husband had become argumentative and that he was constantly making Gypsy feel like she couldn't do anything right. Now, another source close to Gypsy is coming forward to reveal what she says led to the separation.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Allegedly Locked Herself In The Bathroom
According to Gypsy's friend, the night before she decided to leave the marriage, she had locked herself in her bathroom in Lake Charles, Louisiana because she was so scared of her estranged husband.
Ryan reportedly banged on the door late at night, screaming, "Let me in! Let me in!" leaving the 32-year-old scared for her life. That is when she knew their two-year marriage needed to end.
"He got in her face and screamed," her close friend and tattoo artist Nadiya Vizier told People. "Gypsy said that she was afraid he was going to hit her. He didn't — but that happened in the past with her mother. So, her first instinct was to tighten up and be prepared."
"But she got to safety and called her lawyer, too," she added. "Ryan is a big guy, and she told me it was really scary."
The next morning, Gypsy reportedly packed up her belongings and took the long drive back to her father's home in Cut Off, Louisiana.
Gypsy Rose's Close Friend Is 'Glad' She 'Got Out Of This Situation'
"I'm glad Gypsy got out of this situation," Vizier told the outlet. "She's such a good person. I'm glad she called somebody and got help that night."
After the news broke, Gypsy was seen hanging out with her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, prompting speculation something was going on romantically between the two. "There are so many rumors about her out there. I had to finally speak up," she expressed. "I want people to know she didn't leave Ryan for Ken. She left him because she wasn't happy anymore."
Blanchard's cousin Bobby Pitre also spoke out, claiming "It wasn't a genuine relationship" because "Ryan got in touch with Gypsy on a dare, and she took the bait, and it went from there."
Ryan Anderson Previously Gushed Over Gypsy Rose Blanchard
In January, shortly after Gypsy Rose was released from prison, Ryan Anderson spoke to People as he gushed over his wife.
"Gypsy and I have always been very open and honest with each other," Anderson told the outlet. "Even honesty to a fault. Gypsy wants to be so honest that she'll say things that hurt my feelings and vice versa. But that's one of the things I think that makes us stronger is that we are willing to lay it all out on the table. But also, one thing I love about us is after an argument, it's done. We hold no resentment."
Gypsy Rose Blanchard Wanted A Redo Wedding
The ex-convict had previously said she wanted a "redo" wedding with Ryan since their first ceremony took place while she was still in prison. "We do plan on having a reception/redo wedding with all of our family and our friends and the dress and the cake and everything because we deserve that. I deserve that. He deserves that," she said at the time.
"Our prison wedding was just something to where we can make our vows to each other," she added.
The Blast has attempted to contact Ryan Anderson, but have yet to hear back.
