Babyface's Brother, Singer Melvin Edmonds, Dead at 65

Melvin Edmonds, brother of R&B star Babyface and one of the singers of the group, After 7, has died after battling an illness.
Melvin passed away over the weekend at the age of 65 at his home in Indianapolis, according to his son, who is also named Melvin.
After 7 was founded in 1987 by brothers Melvin and Kevon Edmonds, and Keith Mitchell. Melvin's son, Jason, later joined the group after he had left. The group was nominated for a Grammy for their 1990 single, "Can't Stop," and they also won an NAACP Image Award in the same year.
The singers were also known for their hits "Heat of the Moment" and "Ready or Not," however Babyface never joined the group.
Melvin is survived by his daughter, Courtney, and sons Melvin, Jason, and Chris.
