Diddy Breaks Social Media Silence After Home Raids

Like many others, Diddy took to social media on March 31 to celebrate the Easter holiday. This would be the rapper's first post since Homeland Security raided his homes.

To mark the special day, he posted a series of adorable photos of his youngest child, 17-month-old daughter Love, whom he shares with his ex-partner, Dana Tran.

The embattled rapper captioned the post: "HAPPY EASTER from Baby Love."

Unlike his previous Instagram posts, Diddy turned off the comments in this post to prevent any form of fan commentary. This is likely due to the recent scandals plaguing him, as his ex-girlfriend, Cassie, filed a scathing lawsuit against him, which he settled within hours.

Diddy's attorney, Aaron Dyer, has since released a statement condemning the raid and branding it a "witch hunt."

"Yesterday, there was a gross overuse of military-level force as search warrants were executed at Mr. Combs' residences. There is no excuse for the excessive show of force and hostility exhibited by authorities or the way his children and employees were treated," Dyer said.

The lawyer added, "Mr. Combs was never detained but spoke to and cooperated with authorities. Despite media speculation, neither Mr. Combs nor any of his family members have been arrested nor has their ability to travel been restricted in any way."
