Following the news of Gypsy Rose Blanchard's separation from Ryan Anderson, Lifetime has shared that the ex-convict's story will be told in a new documentary -- including details from her relationship with her former lover.

As you know, Gypsy Rose was released from prison on parole in December 2023 after being charged with second-degree murder for her involvement in her mother's murder. She is believed to be a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy, a disease that investigators believe her mom had suffered from.

Lifetime has previously announced the docuseries, 'The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard,' but now they have announced another project in the works titled 'Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up'.

"Gypsy Rose Blanchard has openly shared her life with Lifetime and our cameras from the moment she was paroled," Lifetime recently shared. "Her story, including her relationship with Ryan, will continue to unfold on 'Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up', debuting this June on Lifetime."

Her story was first told in the documentary 'Mommy Dead and Dearest'.

Fans immediately jumped for joy at the news, as social media users expressed their excitement in the comments section of Lifetime's post.

"I'm happy and ready to hear more of her story. I can't wait to see," one user wrote.

"I’m happy she’s out & living her life. Wishing her much happiness & success," another said.

A third said, "I will absolutely watch this."

Another expressed, "I definitely will watch this. I’ve wondered how she has been adjusting. I hope she is doing well. She deserves happiness and freedom from the horrific childhood she had."

For those who do not know, Gypsy Rose endured abuse from her mother as she claimed Gypsy to have many illnesses and diseases that she never had.

Lifetime captioned the post, "There's always more to the story," which grabbed followers' attention as it seems cryptic considering this comes just days after Gypsy Rose announced her separation from Ryan.

“People have been asking what is going on in my life. Unfortunately, my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents’ home down the bayou,” Gypsy Rose wrote in a statement a few days ago. “I have the support of my family and friends to help guide me through this. I am learning to listen to my heart. Right now I need time to let myself find… who I am.”

Before his daughter's prison release, Rod Blanchard sat down with PEOPLE, opening up about Gypsy’s marriage to the special education teacher.

“Personally, I give it a 50/50 chance that it's going to work,” he told the outlet at the time. “She can be spontaneous and make a quick decision and just jump into things without thinking."

Gypsy and Ryan moved in together immediately after she was released -- something her dad wished didn't happen.

"I wish she would have came home here and when her being on parole was over, live with him, just live with him, learn him," he continued. "She's grown, and she was told what to do all her life. We wish she wouldn't have, but like I told her, if it doesn't work out, I'll be there to help pick up the pieces. I really do hope it does work out. Ryan's a great guy. He loves her for all the right reasons."

Unfortunately, it seems it didn't work out after all, as Gypsy has moved out and is now back home with her family.

Gypsy and Ryan first connected in 2020 and tied the knot in a July 21, 2022, jailhouse ceremony. After she was released, she expressed wanting a "re-do" wedding.

"We do plan on having a reception/redo wedding with all of our family and our friends and the dress and the cake and everything because we deserve that. I deserve that. He deserves that," she said last year. "Our prison wedding was just something to where we can make our vows to each other. It was something that meant something to us. And I think the party is kind of for everybody else and us, but mostly for everybody else."

'Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up' will air in June on Lifetime.
