Perdomo's publicist confirmed the news of his passing in a statement and shared some details about the sad incident. The producers of the "Gen V" also released a statement on his passing, emphasizing how beloved the actor was.

According to a statement released by Perdomo's publicist, the actor passed away following a motorcycle accident. Authorities have also noted that no other individuals were involved in the unfortunate incident.

The statement read, "It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Chance Perdomo's untimely passing as a result of a motorcycle accident. Authorities have advised that no other individuals were involved."

"His passion for the arts and insatiable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will carry on in those who he loved dearest. We ask to please respect the family's wish for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother," Perdomo's rep added.

Perdomo was well-known for his appearances as Andre Anderson in the "The Boys" spinoff series "Gen V" and Ambrose Spellman in Netflix's "Chilling Adventures of Sabrina."

The producers of his show, "Gen V," released a statement on his passing. They wrote about how shocking the news was while stressing how kind the late actor was to his co-stars.

"We can't quite wrap our heads around this. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, an enthusiastic force of nature, an incredibly talented performer, and more than anything else, just a very kind, lovely person," the producers said in the joint statement.

Perdomo was born in Los Angeles, California, on October 19, 1996. However, he moved with his mother to Southampton in the county of Hampshire, England, where he was raised.

The late actor went to Redbridge Community School in South Hampton before attending Peter Symonds College in Winchester.

Perdomo eventually traveled to London to pursue acting instead of law, his initial career path. He trained at the Identity School of Acting and joined the National Youth Theatre.

More recently, Perdomo starred as Andre Anderson in Prime Video's "Gen V." He played the role of a student at Godolkin University with magnetic abilities.

According to Variety, production on the show's second season has been put on hold due to Perdomo's untimely passing.
