Sarah Michelle Gellar Says Goodbye to Beloved Bernese Bella With Tear-Jerking Message

Sarah Michelle Gellar is pulling on all the heartstrings with a tearful message saying goodbye to her dog, Bella.
The actress announced the death of her Bernese Mountain Dog on Tuesday with several adorable photos of the duo.
"I know that time on this earth is a gift, but sometimes those gifts leave us too soon," Sarah Michelle Gellar wrote. "Bella you were truly the sweetest, kindest, most loving dog and friend."
She added, "And while I don’t think six years with you was nearly enough, I’m grateful to have had you in my life. I love you."
Several of Gellar's Hollywood friends commented their support for the star.
"Oh honey. I’m so sorry," wrote Reese Witherspoon, while Debra Messing commented, "Oh Sarah I’m so so sorry."
Gellar's BFFSelma Blair had some sweet words for the star too, responding to her heartbreaking post by saying, "I know how much you love her. She was the dearest."
