Model Ashley Alexiss hit pause on the swimwear as she modeled a skimpy, stylish look for her recent night out in Miami, FL. The 33-year-old Instagram star and designer sizzled in a dark pair of Daisy Dukes and a statement Gucci belt for her mid-week share, thrilling her 2 million fans with her figure and joking about looking like "Sherbert ice cream." Referencing her bold orange shirt and near-matching high heels as she went loud with her outfit, Ashley caught mad love in the comments, with many a fan wanting the deets on where to shop her shoes.

Going for short sleeves and with a few buttons undone, Ashley just about flashed a dark bra beneath her shirt, making sure to coordinate her head-turning blouse with a pair of hot pink and orange wedge heels with statement ankle strapping.

Looking beautiful as she rocked a full face of makeup and allowed her blonde hair to fall around her shoulders, Ashley injected her signature sense of humor into her caption as she wrote: "Walking around Miami looking like sherbet ice cream." A geotag placed the Boston native in Miami Beach.

"The shoes!!!!!!! Girl. Gimme! Where can I find them!?" one fan asked. Another, however, caused drama as they said: "Gorgeous! I would love to know your secret of slimming down! You look amazing." Ashley tends not to interact with fans in the comments to her post, but this comment appeared to be too much for her. Firing back and setting the record straight, Ashley replied: "It’s not “top secret” that I went through a terrible year. Battled my own mind everyday. Depression got the best of me plus I gave up alcohol entirely."

In a second reply, Ashley scolded the fan for bringing weight into the comments. Ashley has spent her life battling societal norms dictating that models should be super-slim, although as the first plus-size model to walk the Sports Illustrated Swim runway, she won her battle.

"And I *usually* don’t reply because it’s incredibly rude to reduce someone down to their size or losing weight especially when said person has been very open and honest about struggling this last year," she continued.
