Salma Hayek Celebrates Mexico In Skimpy Bikini Float

Salma Hayek was all about celebrating her homeland of Mexico as she updated her Instagram with stunning bikini snapshots yesterday. Floating around from a rock pool and on her back, the 57-year-old actress thrilled fans with her fabulous figure as she got soaking wet in a bikini, quickly bringing in comments and also gaining a like from Hollywood queen bee, Kim Kardashian. Enjoying an immersive nature moment, Salma rocked a colorful two-piece as she gave a nod to the upcoming summer months, and fans have now left her over 320,000 likes.

Very much in her element as she enjoyed her favorite water setting, Salma opened her duo of photos largely submerged in water as she modeled a figure-flaunting bikini on orange. Highlighting her assets tastefully as she placed her arms by her side and with her head mostly in the water, the MCU star drew the eye to her submerged stomach and hips as she kept zen, with a similar pose in a swipe right showing her shot farther out.

Flashing her toned legs as she folded one limb in the second snap, Salma looked totally at peace while surrounded by rocks. In a caption, the Mexican-born star wrote: "#vivamexico Cenote."

Cenotes are the underground cave systems in Mexico that are now a tourist attraction. Hayek remains fiercely proud of her Mexican heritage, but she has opened up to state that Hollywood has discriminated against her on account of being Mexican.

"Afterwards the directors told me that I was the best audition and that I was better than who they cast and that they regretted it. But at the time, they knew the studios wouldn't have gone for a Mexican as the lead," she told Variety of her audition for movie The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard.

Noting her established fame in Mexico as she attempted to break into Hollywood, Hayek continued: "In my case, I was already a very big star in my country. I was bringing the Latino market into the theatres. I know some of the studios knew that. But they didn't want to accept the value of the Latino market at the time."

Salma is now an A-Lister, adored for roles in movies including Frida and House of Gucci. As to her IG fans, they're in it for the movies, but those sizzling swimwear snaps likely don't hurt Salma's popularity.

Salma recently ditched the red carpet gowns and Fashion Week looks for a comfy PJs look as she stunned in green, zebra-print pajamas to prep her morning pancakes. Stunning in her two-piece as she got busy with the batter, the actress wrote: "#pancakeday" as she raked in over 600,000 likes.
