"You taught me a little bit about s-x," Anneliese told Christy, "I just remember that 'Circle of Life', do you remember taking Raven Symoné and me into another room and hanging out?"

"Apparently I got super super sassy on the set of 'Circle of Life'," Christy said. "The last time I saw Raven she was like 'Oh yeah you showed me your b--bs'."

The two laughed and that is when Anneliese joked, "First of all Raven was super happy about that let's be honest right."

Raven-Symoné said that she was "aware of" her s-xuality while filming 'That's So Raven.'

“However, I was in a relationship with a guy who I would tell on a regular basis, ‘If we get married, you know I got to have a girlfriend right?’ Literally, I was like, ‘This is not going to just be us, right?’” she told TODAY.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the former child actress claims "My s-xuality marinated in itself and started to change a little bit more and [Miranda Maday] was there." It feels so good to be able to know you have someone there for you but you can still go out into the world (and be independent, too)."

The two married in 2020.

Her 'That's So Raven' co-star, Anneliese van der Pol, revealed that she knew Raven was gay "the second [she] met her."

When asked if Raven knew she was gay, Anneliese said, "She did," but at the time, "it wasn't as widely accepted as it is now" and "she was finding herself."

Now, Raven lives as her true self, telling Romper, “I always say that my gay self saved me. A lot of people ask why I didn’t turn out like any of the other people in my position in Hollywood. As much as I attribute that to my parents, I also attribute it to the fact that the gay person on the inside of me kept saying, ‘Nope, Nope, Nope. You can’t do that. You can’t do that because I haven’t lived my life yet. You have to come out before you can do anything.’”

Her wife, Miranda, has stuck by her side and has supported her from the very beginning of her Disney career.

“Honestly, growing up, I didn’t have any person really sit in front of my face and make me feel comfortable enough to be me. The person I always looked up to was the version of myself I knew I wanted to be later,” she said. “So, I’ve had to live in the future more than in the now, I guess you could say. I lived toward the person I wanted to be, and found the real role models I needed as I got older, like Miranda and so many people in the LBGTQ+ community.”

The Disney Channel actress secretly married Melissa Maday in 2020 at a small ceremony, which was a milestone for the couple.

“The process of going to get our marriage certificate, and signing that document… it was so great,” Miranda told Romper. “But at the same time, it’s a piece of paper that is also issued to you by the government — the same government that makes people like us fearful that their marriage could be taken away from them, or that they won’t always have the permission to do so. I understand how important that recognition is and I want it…”
