'Iron Man' Star Shaun Toub Files for Divorce

Much like the story arc of "The Avengers" ... and the character of Iron Man ... one of the stars from the franchise is saying goodbye to his marriage.

According to court records obtained by The Blast, actor Shaun Toub filed for divorce Friday in L.A. against his wife, Lorena.

It's unclear how long the two have been married, but Toub indicated that they have no children together.

Toub, who is best known for playing Professor Yinsen, in "Iron Man" and "Iron Man 3," also played Majid Javadi, the chief of Iranian intelligence on "Homeland."

Fans of "Seinfeld" may also recognize Toub from his role as Pinter in the famed episode, "The Betrayal."

BTW, yes Iron Man dies -- the Russo Bros. said we could talk about it now.
