Former President Donald Trump has reportedly started selling bibles amid his pricey legal battles.
The 77-year-old took to his social media platform, Truth Social, to plead with his MAGA supporters to buy his brand new bible, which is inspired by country singer Lee Greenwood’s patriotic ballad.
The move was quickly slammed online, with netizens even going as far as blasting his supporters. This comes after Trump made a surprise appearance at the Philadelphia Sneaker Con to promote his line of gold sneakers.
Donald Trump Is Now Selling Bibles For The Price Of $59.99
From selling shoes to selling Bibles, ex-president Trump is definitely making it clear that he is a businessman through and through.
On Tuesday, the Republican presidential hopeful told his followers in a video posted on Truth Social to purchase his bibles as Easter approaches. With country singer Lee Greenwood’s patriotic ballad, "God Bless The USA," playing in the background, Trump pitched his new product to MAGA fans while wishing them a "happy Holy Week."
He said, per AP, "Happy Holy Week! Let’s Make America Pray Again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless the USA Bible." The former president then directed his supporters to a website presently selling the book for $59.99.

In his video clip on Truth Social, Trump elaborated on how the bible is his "favorite book" and how proud he is to endorse the book.
"All Americans need a Bible in their home, and I have many. It’s my favorite book,” Trump continued in the clip. “I’m proud to endorse and encourage you to get this Bible. We must make America pray again.”
On the website, the book has been billed as the "only bible endorsed by President Trump."
It is also described as "Easy-to-read” with “large print” and a “slim design” that “invites you to explore God’s Word anywhere, any time.”
Per AP, in addition to a translation from the King James Version, it has handwritten choruses of well-known Greenwood songs and copies of the U.S. Constitution, the Bill of Rights, the Declaration of Independence, and the Pledge of Allegiance.

A third X user commented, "Proof Trump thinks MAGA are fools who will buy anything: Shreds of suit fabric, gaudy tennis shoes, pirated NFT trading cards, and now Bibles. He’s a walking kiosk of cheap merch, like a traveling state fair carny booth."
"TrumpBibles. He actually is marketing his own Bible. You can't even write this stuff," wrote a fourth person.
One more X user stated, "Trump hawking Bibles to pay his legal fees for lying, cheating, and r----- is really the perfect culmination of the last eight years. Lord help us."
He Previously Sold Gold Sneakers
In February, the former president appeared at Philadelphia Sneaker Con to sell his gold "Never Surrender High-Tops" for $400.
Although the shoes were met with negative reviews for being "tacky," they reportedly sold out within days, with Trump bragging about the accomplishment on social media.
The ex-president excitedly took to his Instagram page to announce that the expensive gold sneakers sold out less than a week after launching at Sneaker Con. He posted a photo of the gold shoes with "Sold Out" written boldly in red.
Trump has also previously sold NFTs, cologne, and perfume and allegedly made between $100,000 to $1,000,000 last year from selling digital trading cards.
Donald Trump's Hefty Fraud Bond Was Reduced, Deadline Extended
Trump's latest bible sale comes a day after he was granted a reduction in his hefty fraud bond and also given a deadline extension.
According to reports, a New York appeals court reduced the bond from $454 million to $175 million. The billionaire was also given a 10-day extension to find the money he needs for the bond.
In February, Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that the Republican frontrunner should be fined approximately $355 million for falsifying his business documents to increase the worth of his assets.
As the deadline for the payment drew near, the pressure caused Trump to go on a tantrum online, as he slammed the possibility of his properties being seized if he failed to pay the fine.
