Richard wants the court to order Quinn to stay 100 yards away from him for allegedly fabricating stories that he physically abused her during their relationship.

As he points out in the documents, "a citation was issued for my appearance in court on April 10, 2024, based on false allegations of DV."

The 45-year-old states in the filing that even though nobody saw her do it, Quinn reportedly caused him "emotional or physical harm" on March 19. He also notes that the abuse happened just that one time.

He requests that his estranged wife not "Harass, attack, strike, threaten, assault (sexually or otherwise), hit, follow, stalk, molest, destroy personal property, keep under surveillance, impersonate (on the internet, electronically, or otherwise), block movements, annoy by phone or other electronic means (including repeated contact), or disturb the peace."

Additionally, Richard wants Quinn to move out of their Los Angeles home, avoid making changes to his insurance coverage, and "not borrow against, sell, hide, or get rid of or destroy any possessions."

What Started The Tension Between The Estranged Lovers?

Going into details about the events leading up to the alleged physical attack that led to his arrest, Richard writes that Quinn owns two dogs that she refuses to train, leading to a constant mess that he has to clean up.

He says apart from being left with the dog’s mess, he and the "Selling Sunset" star disagree about childcare for their son Christian.

As a result, around March 18, Richard texted both Quinn and the nanny Alexis, requesting that the latter leave around 3 pm. However, his wife disregarded his request and instructed the nanny to stay, which she did.

Upon discovering this, the College of New Jersey alum insisted that all communications between himself, his wife, and Alexis be limited to a dedicated group chat. That instruction seemingly angered Quinn and worsened the already bad situation.

The tense atmosphere was still there on March 19 when Richard discovered that their dogs had urinated on his prized belongings. According to him, he found the bedroom in a mess, with cleaning supplies, soda cans, and food waste scattered around.

Despite asking for help from Quinn, she purportedly refused, claiming she had already tried cleaning up. Upon hearing that, Richard claims that he “grabbed the trash bag from the floor and threw it to the side of the room, against the wall.”

He emphasizes that he “did not throw the bag towards Ms. Quinn or their son” and that “there was no glass in the bag, as there was no broken glass in the room or anywhere in the house.”

Afterward, he suggested spending time with their son, but Quinn took the boy to another room, prompting Richard to return to his computer. He also asserts that he briefly discussed their upcoming summer travel plans with Quinn.

It was after this conversation, which happened on their bed, that Los Angeles Police Department [LAPD] officers stormed in and demanded Richard leave immediately.

In the filing, he shares that he had zero time to grab his belongings and left wearing only his bathrobe. Paparazzi photographers were outside, capturing the moment and spreading the images online.

Richard was subsequently booked for assault with a deadly weapon due to the alleged incident that occurred inside his home.

Per The Blast, authorities were notified of a domestic violence incident, with sources indicating there was a verbal argument between Quinn and Richard.

Quinn recounted to authorities that Richard allegedly threw a bag containing glass at her. While the bag missed Quinn, it allegedly struck their two-year-old son.

Emergency services were called after the toddler was injured, and both an ambulance and authorities arrived at the scene. Christian received initial treatment on-site, but paramedics decided he needed to be taken to the hospital for further evaluation and care.

With Richard behind bars, Quinn was granted an emergency protective order against him which she reportedly accepted. As at the time, the reality star was set to benefit from the arrangement for the next seven days.
