Britney Spears wants people to know that she posts her own videos to social media and she decided to prove it with a random video of her kind of dancing to a Rihanna song.
After posting a few old videos to her Instagram account earlier this month, Spears assured fans that her new video was, in fact, new.
“For those of you who don’t think I post my own videos,” Spears said to the camera, ” did this video yesterday, so you’re wrong. But I hope you like it.”
The ensuing video then shows Britney dancing in posing — in three different dresses — while Rihanna’s “Man Down” plays in the background.
The song choice — it’s about a woman who shoots a man — considering there’s a hearing today in Britney Spears’ restraining order case against her former manager, Sam Lutfi.
Probably just a coincidence.
