Diddy's properties are being raided by federal authorities amid the barrage of lawsuits that have been thrown at him recently.
The rapper's reputation took a sudden nosedive when his ex-girlfriend Cassie accused him r-pe, s-x trafficking, and abuse in November 2023, opening him up to other lawsuits from several alleged male and female victims
Now, it seems the authorities want to get to the bottom of the accusations.
Diddy's Homes Gets Raided By Federal Agents
On Monday afternoon, agents of Homeland Security raided two of Diddy's homes—one on the East Coast and the other on the West Coast. It seems the raid happened simultaneously, giving the rapper no time to prepare for their presence.
The music mogul's Beverly Hills property and a home in Miami were the target of the raid. Authorities reportedly walked around the house with guns and questioned people.
It's still unknown what prompted the raid but sources told TMZ that it has something to do with the sex trafficking allegations levied against the "Coming Home" artist.
Helicopters were seen hovering over the homes while local law enforcement was on the ground, but it is not sure if Diddy was present at either of the properties while the raid was ongoing. Homeland Security is the lead agency leading the search.
Diddy's Sons Allegedly Arrested During Homeland Security Raid
According to reports, the ongoing case against Diddy is being handled out of the Southern District of New York. The agents arrived at the artist's home via boat.
During the raid, it seems two of the music executive sons were caught in the crosshairs. Footage obtained showed his elder sons Justin and King Combs — alongside an unknown man — being handcuffed outside their father's Los Angeles properties.
They were surrounded by armed agents who seemed to be questioning them. Their involvement in their father's scandal is yet to come to light.
Is There An Ongoing Investigation Against Diddy?

Amid the raid, a representative for Homeland Security Investigations released a statement about the situation. It read:
"Earlier today, Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) New York executed law enforcement actions as part of an ongoing investigation, with assistance from HSI Los Angeles, HSI Miami, and our local law enforcement partners. We will provide further information as it becomes available."
Back in November, rumors surfaced that the NYPD had a file name under the name Sean Combs as part of a criminal investigation. However, the agency released a statement denying such claims that read:
"Yesterday, a member of the NYPD’s public information office erroneously told a reporter about the apparent existence of an active case file containing the name ‘Sean Combs.’ There is no such investigation, at present. Further, the release of such information is not consistent with the internal policies of the office of the Deputy Commissioner, Public Information."
Inside Cassie's Sexual Abuse Lawsuit Against Diddy
In November 2023, Cassie made scathing allegations against her former boyfriend in a bombshell lawsuit that was settled within days.
In her filing, the "Long Way 2 Go" songstress claimed Diddy allegedly controlled and abused her for over ten years. During their time together as a couple and music partner, he also allegedly drugged her, beat her, and forced her to have sex with numerous male sex workers, all on video.
"After years in silence and darkness. I am finally ready to tell my story and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships," Cassie wrote in her lawsuit.
She recalled instances when the rapper, whose real name is Sean Combs, became violent towards her and physically attacked her just because he saw her have a conversation with another music manager.
Following Cassie's lawsuit, many more alleged victims came out. The rapper was the subject of five sexual assault lawsuits in the space of only three weeks.
Diddy Denied All Allegations Against Him
Following the fifth lawsuit levied against the 54-year-old by a Jane Doe, Diddy finally addressed the slew of accusations thrown at him. In a statement shared on social media, the Bad Boy Records founder wrote:
"For the last couple of weeks, I have sat silently and watched people try to assassinate my character, destroy my reputation and my legacy. Sickening allegations have been made against me by individuals looking for a quick payday."
He continued, declaring his innocence with the words, "Let me be absolutely clear: I did not do any of the awful things being alleged. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth."
