Lil Nas X is facing major backlash for a joke that went very wrong after he attempted to pass off Drake's album cover as his own.
The "Old Town Road" rapper shared what he claimed was his album art and fans lost it when pointing out all the similarities to Drizzy's 2013 album, "Nothing Was The Same."
"I’ve decide to title the album 'nothing was the same' here’s the artwork my team and i worked very hard on," Lil Nas X wrote on Tuesday.

Many fans didn't realize the star was just trolling the masses and slammed him for "copying" the background, pose and name for the album.
"you used the same clouds," one person wrote. "You used the same exact picture in the back," said another.
But that didn't stop Lil Nas X from continuing to lead fans on, and he began defending his "album art."
"Peep how i’m looking up and drake looking straight ahead. also notice the different hues of blue. they look nothing alike. people be reaching when u at the top," the 20-year-old rapper wrote.
Lil Nas X's actual album titled "7" is expected to drop in June.
