Candiace Dillard Bassett has turned in her "Real Housewives of Potomac" peach.
The television personality, who became part of the Bravo series during season 3, recently disclosed her decision not to return for its upcoming — and highly anticipated —ninth season.
Candiace's exit follows a tumultuous season of "RHOP" marked by conflicts with original cast members and former pals Robyn Dixon and Gizelle Bryant.
Candiace Dillard Bassett: 'This Is Not Farewell'
Candiace has announced her departure from "RHOP" after a six-year run. In a statement released to effect her exit the singer declared:
"As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with 'The Real Housewives of Potomac,' I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey."
She claimed that she was taking "a break from RHOP' due to "a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate." After highlighting that "This is not a farewell, but a 'see you later,'" the 37-year-old appreciately told PEOPLE:
"Your unwavering support has been my guiding light, and I look forward to the exciting adventures that lie ahead — and more importantly, sharing them all with you!"
Considering that her departure from the show comes on the heels of her beef with Bryant and Dixon, fans will no doubt wonder if the trio reconciled during the reunion.
In the reunion's trailer, which premiered on Friday, showed Candiace reaffirming her sentiments toward the two, labeling Dixon a "loser" and maintaining the insults she directed at Bryant throughout the year.
Shockingly, it has also been rumored that Dixon is exiting "RHOP," after Bravo let her go as part of what The JasmineBRAND has dubbed a cast shake-up.
Unlike Candiace, the 44-year-old has not yet issued an official statement regarding her purported departure.
Dixon Slammed Candiace's Husband For Allegedly Cheating On His Wife
Considering that Candiace's departure from the reality series comes on the heels of her beef with Bryant and Dixon, fans will no doubt wonder what will happen between the trio off-camera.
A sign that the drama will likely continue occurred when Dixon and Bryant made their shared enemy's husband, Chris Bassett, a topic of conversation on their podcast, "Reasonably Shady."
The duo's discussion revolved around allegations that Chris has been unfaithful to his wife, leading "RHOP" viewers to scrutinize evidence and find inconsistencies. Addressing the private chef's behavior while casting doubt on the rumors, Dixon said:
"You know, I know people are probably gonna try to say, 'Oh we need more proof, we need more proof.' I've seen enough to kind of know that something was done that wasn't supposed to happen."
Seemingly referring to her former friend's heightened reaction when the latter learned that Dixon covered her husband Juan's infidelity scandal in the show's seventh season, Dixon added:
"Be careful how you respond or react to other people's drama because your *** may be caught up in some similar s—."

Candiace's reaction to the episode came in the form of a message shared on her X account. Subtly poking fun at her former co-stars' marital and romantic troubles, she wrote:
"Lol. While some need to be sorting out their own relationship fires, they're busy trying to spark new flames. The people are tired."
Although the reality star has since edited the post, an earlier, now-deleted X mentioned Bryant allegedly arranging for boyfriends for the show and hinted at Juan's purported infidelity.

Away from her drama with Bryant and Dixon, the "Cause A Scene" songstress gave glimpses into her and her husband's IVF journey on "RHOP." When season 7 premiered last October, she told her fans in an X:
"We actually started the egg-freezing process last year but I was apprehensive about starting the journey because… It's a huge decision! This year, I went in full steam ahead with my husband's support! But Lord Jesus… It was a really intense journey."

She delved further into on her decision to freeze her eggs and how her hectic schedule might impact her plans in an October 9 episode, where she said:
"It's now or never. Like if I don't do it now, I'm gonna have two eggs left and no kid. My lap is full of things. My cup is running over, honey. I am preparing for the re-release of my album Deep Space."
Listing off other things that had her attention at the time, Candiace expressed, "We just did my first tour and I opened for SWV [and] Faith Evans," before adding:
"I can't stop at this moment. So I want to have that security of knowing I have some eggs in the freezer, stored away for me when I'm ready to have kids." On how soon she wanted to have a bun in the oven, the "Drive Back" hitmaker playfully asserted:
"I am ready to get pregnant every Wednesday and then Thursday at, like, 10 p.m. I want to go on tour. I want to do five million things. I don't frickin know."
