Ivanka Trump Will Not Give Up Private Life For Dad Donald's Campaign: 'She Basically Doesn't Care'

Ivanka Trump is reportedly content with the private life she's building with her family and isn't willing to give that up, despite her father, Donald Trump, being the presumptive Republican nominee for president.
Ivanka and her husband, Jared Kushner, served as senior advisors to Trump during his first stint in the Oval Office. The pair have since retired from politics and have settled for a more private life in Miami with their three kids.
Ivanka Trump Is 'Very Happy, Living Her Best Life'
The former first daughter was on hand to support her father while he vied for the presidency during his first tenure, but she's seemingly not willing to maintain such commitment this time around.
Having served as members of the cabinet during Trump's first term in office from January 2017 to 2021, Ivanka and Kushner have maintained their distance from the spotlight and the cutthroat world of politics to focus on their family.
According to People magazine, a source in her social circle recently shared that she isn't willing to give that up, despite her father being the presumptive Republican party nominee for president.
"She is pleased, living her best life," the insider shared. "She left politics totally in the rearview mirror, and so this time around, even if her dad is the leading Republican candidate, she basically doesn't care. She told him when he said he was going to run again that she didn't want to be involved."
Family Is Everything To Ivanka Trump
Unlike her life the first time around, Ivanka has been seen attending star-studded events, going on exotic dinners with Kushner, working out at area gyms, and even traveling for international vacations with her family.
During their free time, she and her family even volunteer with local organizations such as a Miami food bank and a nonprofit that develops programs for children with special needs.
According to the source who spoke to People, Ivanka just "wants to be normal" and continue "having fun as a family."
The insider shared that during Trump's first campaign and subsequent presidency, she "wanted to support him" and "to be a good daughter."
"She served his administration for four years, but she had enough. She doesn't want to do it anymore," they said.
"She wants to think about nothing but her family and what they're doing, and she wants to enjoy her life," the tipster added.
The insider went on to disclose that Ivanka is never coming back to politics.
"She's never going to be in politics again," the source said. "It's a hard position for her: she doesn't agree with everything [President Trump] says, but she doesn't want to publicly disagree with him, so she just wants to stay out of it at this stage."

The father-daughter duo made a surprise joint appearance at a UFC 299 event: the Sean O'Malley-Marklon Vera fight.
Trump and Ivanka smiled widely as they were welcomed into the venue, but many fans also expected to see the ex-president's wife, Melania Trump, who was notably absent.
Despite Melania's absence, Trump and Ivanka received massive applause from the crowd at the UFC match while a Kid Rock song played in the background.
It's just another event with her husband that former First Lady Melania has missed, such as Trump's victory speech after his success on Super Tuesday, which cinched him the Republican spot as the presidential candidate in the upcoming elections.
Donald Trump Might Be Riding Alone For The Campaigns
Ivanka's decision to stay out of the campaign trail comes amid Trump's wife, Melania's absence from the spotlight also. The billionaire politician's third attempt at becoming president seems not to be a family affair like it was the first time, as Melania and Ivanka have noticeably been distant from the campaign trail.
A source told People Magazine that Trump is okay with that, so long as they show up when needed.
"Donald loves to be out with the people, and despite his burning legal and financial issues, going out on the campaign trail makes him happy," the source shared. "He is a loner horse and can function fine without his family, although he is happy when they can accompany him."
Another source claimed Trump "does well on his own" at political events because "so many people want to talk to him and be around him that he doesn't dwell on who is not there."
The former first lady made a rare appearance with her husband as they recently cast their ballots in the Florida Republican party primaries, where she teased a prominent feature at the campaign by answering "stay tuned" to a journalist who asked her if she'll feature more.
Melania Trump's Top Priority Is Her Son Barron
Melania's absence from the spotlight and at political events has been said to be due to her focus on family too ahead of politics. According to People, a source disclosed that she is more focused on her son, Barron, who recently turned 18, and likes to spend time with him than on politics.
"Melania dislikes a petting zoo," the source shared. "She goes when she has to, but if it's not essential she prefers to stay out of the public eye. When an event is packed full of campaigning types and crowds of people even at Mar-a-Lago, she tries to opt-out."
Another social source told the news outlet that her "main job is taking care of Barron," adding that the former FLOTUS will probably "follow him wherever he goes to school."
"Barron is shy and reserved, and she has been a good mother to him all of these years," they added.
