Describing the moment as "a little funny," the mother-of-four asserted her intention to avoid delving into personal matters concerning her ex-husband, per People Magazine.

In her own words, "Matt's my ex, but you know, I'll be okay as long as we don't get, you know, nitty gritty and personal. Like, I would never talk to Caryn about Matt. I'm glad that she's not, 'Oh yeah, we're doing this together Amy, you know, did you guys do that?'"

However, one potentially tense moment occurred when Amy, with her characteristic directness, asked to see Caryn's engagement ring. After donning her reading glasses to see a little more clearly, the 61-year-old politely complimented the impressive rock, "That's very pretty! Wow!"

Amy's first meeting with Caryn comes after her ex-husband labeled her a "micromanager."

In an earlier episode, viewers saw Amy taking the reins in organizing a charity event for the Dwarf Athletic Association of America [DAAA]. However, her assertive demeanor elicited a negative response from the group involved.

During the discussion, Amy wasted no time setting the tone and swiftly making decisions about crucial event details, including the date and venue.  However, her decisive approach left Matt uneasy, as he quipped about her tendency to transition from a micro-manager to a "dictator" in the blink of an eye.

Admitting in a confessional, he stated, "Amy, she can cross that line from micro-manager to dictator quicker than me. She can go right there, and you just fasten your seatbelt. She can boss people around with the best of them."

Even amidst his fiancée Caryn's calm acceptance of Amy's authoritative stance, Matt could not help but joke about potentially allowing his ex-wife to plan his own fundraiser.

Amy's Take-Charge Attitude Prevailed Again

Nevertheless, Amy's strong decision-making prowess was evident when she dismissed the idea of a costly tent for the event and instead chose a more budget-friendly approach.

In a candid confessional with her husband, she defended her take-charge attitude, emphasizing the importance of clear leadership in event planning. Chris also came to the TV personality's defense, citing her wealth of experience as a reason for her leading role in the event organization.

"Well, not only that, out of the four of us, Amy has the most experience so I think it would be better for Matt and I to kind of do the peripheral stuff," he added.
