The new docuseries ‘Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV’ has exposed how Dan Schneider allegedly brought "pedophile culture" onto the sets of Nickelodeon shows.

As you know, Dan Schneider, who was a producer, writer, and actor for Nickelodeon, has faced several accusations from co-workers, actors, actresses, and others for creating a toxic work environment, verbal abuse, favoritism, and inappropriate behavior towards young actors.

In 2018, Nickelodeon and Schneider parted ways, however, the reason behind this decision was not disclosed.

There have been several allegations and controversies surrounding Dan Schneider, which include claims of abusive behavior and inappropriate conduct, particularly involving young actors who worked on his shows.

“Everything that happened on the shows I ran was carefully scrutinized by dozens of involved adults. All stories, dialogue, costumes and makeup were fully approved by network executives on two coasts," Dan Schneider said a statement following the accusations.

Adding, "A standard and practices group read and ultimately approved every script, and programming executives reviewed and approved all episodes. In addition, every day on every set, there were always parents and caregivers and their friends watching us rehearse and film.”

Brian Peck, also known as Pickle Boy on 'All That', was highly involved in the sets of Nickelodeon, even interacting with the young actors and actresses. He also acted as a voice coach for many, including Drake Bell.

Business Insider's Kate Taylor described Peck as "a cog in the Dan Schneider machine."

While many thought the pickles to be innocent, ‘All That’ actress Giovonnie Samuels implied otherwise as she said in the docuseries, "Pickles? Look this is the mind of Dan Schneider, you gotta ask him."

Tracey Brown, the mother of 'All That' star Bryan Hearne, also spoke on the pickle sketch, claiming, "The pickles don't look like p-nises to you?"

Nickelodeon Production Assistant Jason Michael Handy Arrested

In the docuseries, allegations were made against Nickelodeon’s former production assistant Jason Handy, who is now a convicted s-x offender. Handy was mainly responsible for escorting the child actors around the sets, outside of the presence of their parents, according to 'All That' actor Kyle Sullivan.

In the docuseries, a woman, identified as MJ, spoke out about her daughter, identified as Brandi, who guest starred on 'The Amanda Show', and the allegations made toward the former production assistant.

Handy was a regular member of the crew and even appeared on-screen at the end of a number of episodes.

Many members thought of Jason Handy as a nice, friendly guy. ‘All That’ actress Giovonnie Samuels read a snippet from her yearbook during the docuseries, which was from Jason.

"Keep your trust in God and don't forget me," it said, adding, "You and all the kids are why I work for free half the week, I love ya, Jason."

However, things took a turn in 2003 when police searched Jason Handy's home after a tip. They found an "enormous trove of child p---ography," according to Business Insider journalist Kate Taylor, per the docuseries. Over 10,000 images of children were found, with  1,768 of those featuring young girls in erotic poses.

They also found ziplock bags, each with a girl's name on it, containing tokens of some sort. One of those bags had Brandi's name on it, and contained letters from the young actress.

Handy's journal was recovered from his home, where he admits: "I am a pedophile full-blown."

"I really have been giving in to my desire of little girls these past few weeks," he wrote. "I even struggle on a day-to-day basis on how I can find a victim to r-pe if I have to."

He also admitted to kissing a nine-year-old. In his journal, he claims that he realized he made her uncomfortable, but told her not to tell her mother about the incident as he promised to get her on other shows, implying he could take her far in the acting industry.

Jason Handy was arrested in April of 2003.
