The person who called 911 the night Jussie Smollett was allegedly attacked made sure to point out to dispatchers that the “Empire” star had a noose around his neck, calling it “really f**ked up.”
The caller was initially hesitant to tell police who the alleged victim was but did point out the person was famous.
“I just need the police to come by, I work for an artist, I don’t really want to say his name,” the caller said.”
The caller told the dispatcher that that victim was returning from Subway when “somebody jumped him or something like that.”
During the call, the unidentified person told dispatchers, “I just think he’s startled … They put a noose around his neck … They didn’t do anything with it, but it’s around his neck. That’s really f**ked up. Sorry for saying it like that.”

There appeared to be some confusion about Jussie Smollett’s location and the caller had to call back.
“I am waiting on the police,” the caller said during the second call. “The person I work for, he was jumped on the street, and I just want to report it. I thought they would be here by now.”
The release of the 911 call comes after police released hundreds of pages of files detailing their investigation into the alleged attack on Smollett. Police initially investigated it as a hate crime but later reached the conclusion that Smollett staged the attack (which he denies).
On Tuesday, “Empire” co-creator Lee Daniels shut down any possibility of Smollett returning to the show for its final season.
