Selena Gomez In Plunging Swimsuit 'Celebrates' Her Body

Selena Gomez picked her swimsuit brand carefully as she stunned with a curve show in her July 2021 Instagram share. The singer, 31, went colorful in a tight bathing suit from brand LaMariette, shouting out the company's mission to allow women to "celebrate" their bodies and seemingly doing just this herself. Stunning the camera as she flaunted her fit figure, Selena sizzled in a deep purple one-piece with vibrant floral and fruity prints on it, also gaining over 8 million likes for her share. Selena had, that year, collaborated with LaMariette, bringing out her own pieces for summer.

Showing off her shapely figure and offering up a cleavage flash, the "Love On" hitmaker wowed in her plunging, strappy number, flaunting her toned waistline and curves and even going structured at the bust. Rocking large hoop earrings and plenty of matte foundation under bronzer, Selena kept her cheeks rosy with blush, here matching the pops of pink on her bathing suit.

In a caption, Gomez wrote: "So grateful that I get the opportunity to celebrate my friends’ endeavors. My collaboration with @lamariette is out today!" She continued: "What I love about this brand is that it celebrates women who love their bodies unconditionally giving themselves the grace they deserve. Hope you love it as much as I do."

2024 has already seen Selena make headlines for addressing her fluctuating weight as she shared side-by-side snaps of her bikini body ten years ago versus now. In a caption, the ex to Justin Bieber wrote that she'd "never look this way again."

Selena embodied acceptance and positivity as she posted this headline-making photo in September 2020. Looking lithe in a poolside snap as she stunned in a tight blue swimsuit, the actress showed off the scar from her 2017 kidney transplant, writing:

"When I got my kidney transplant, I remember it being very difficult at first showing my scar. I didn’t want it to be in photos, so I wore things that would cover it up." She added: "Now, more than ever, I feel confident in who I am and what I went through...and I’m proud of that. T - Congratulations on what you’re doing for women, launching @lamariette whose message is just that...all bodies are beautiful." Gomez underwent her life-saving transplant on account of her Lupus condition, something she still battles.

Selena is followed by 294 million on Instagram, making her the most-followed woman on the platform. In this fan repost, she was praised for showing a "real body" as celebrities continue to flaunt either super-slim or allegedly Photoshopped bodies on social media.
