Kanye West's team has alleged that about $1.2 million worth of clothes from his GAP collection were stolen from a warehouse. The clothes were then allegedly advertised at a Los Angeles sale, causing West's team to issue a cease-and-desist letter to the organizers.

Amid the theft, West and rapper Ty Dolla $ign recently performed together at the Rolling Loud festival. However, the performance was controversial because they didn't rap live but only wandered around the stage. The duo's new song, "Carnival," has been topping music charts like the Billboard Hot 100 since its release.

Kanye West's team has sounded the alarm about over $1 million worth of his Yeezy Gap apparel being stolen from his warehouse. About 60,000 articles of clothing vanished from the storage space, and according to chief of staff Milo Yiannopoulus, they were then located at a sale in Los Angeles.

The Yeezy team found the sale through an advertisement from a fan account, which offered up tons of Yeezy Gap clothes for $20 each. Cops then went to the sale to investigate and were assured by the organizers that all the clothes for sale were bought legitimately. They also provided receipts to support the claim that the sale was legitimate.

However, law enforcement told TMZ that they couldn't trace every item to a receipt, which means some could be missing. Unfortunately, neither West nor his team filed a police report, and because of the organizers' contradictory narratives, the police couldn't confiscate the clothes for further investigation.

After tracking down the sale, West's team issued a cease and desist letter to the organizers. In it, they accused them of forging the receipts shown to the police to throw them off the trail.

Yiannopoulos insisted that West's team never approved a bulk sale of the clothing, and there's no record of such a large sale in their records.

Insisting that the sale organizers stole the clothes, Yiannopoulos said the team would move on to file a police report.

He also promised that they'll implement any measures necessary to retrieve the missing clothes. He further hinted that the team has seemingly uncovered the identity of one of the thieves of the clothes.

Amid the vanishing clothing mystery, West recently trended again for his recent performance at the Rolling Loud hip-hop festival with rapper Ty Dolla $ign.

The duo worked together on West's latest album, "Vultures 1," and will be collaborating again on the sequel, "Vultures 2."

When Rolling Loud first announced West as a headliner for the event, there was a heavy backlash, stemming majorly from the rapper's previous anti-Semitic statements and public stance.

The controversy cost West heavily, causing severe damage to his rap and business career and knocking his billion-dollar fortune down by over $600 million.

Kanye West And Ty Dolla $ign Were Slammed For Not Rapping Live

West and Ty Dolla $ign's performance at Rolling Loud was controversial because the duo failed to rap live. Instead, they spent the whole stage time wandering around without microphones while tracks from the "Vultures 1" album played on speakers in the background.

However, despite the online backlash, footage of the show that went viral on social media showed the audience actually enjoying the different performances. Still, many social media users criticized the duo and called it a lazy job.

Ty Dolla $ign defended the performance to Big Boy TV, saying, "It's still better than other people's shows that have a mic."

West's music career seems to be finally bouncing back, as the "Good Morning" rapper's latest song, "Carnival," has taken over music charts such as the Billboard Hot 100.

The song was released in late February, alongside Beyonce's "Texas Hold Em" and after Jack Harlow's "Lovin On Me," and has held its own. "Carnival" also features rappers Rich the Kid and Playboi Carti.

Since its release, the song has risen to number one in the Top 10 most popular songs in the US. Its popularity has earned West his fifth No. 1 record in this decade.

"Carnival" reaching the top of the music chart makes West the only rapper to score a No. 1 in three consecutive decades.
