TikTok Creators Shared Their Thoughts About Elyse Myers Deleting Her TikTok Videos

Many TikTokers have created videos to address Myers' disappearance and they all seem to have the same general theme. One creator who shared his thoughts was @Coffeetalkwithloulou.

After explaining that he saw something that made him sad, and that he was trying to not make a video on this particular topic, he felt he needed to "defend" Myers.

He said that he saw a photo of Myers with a caption that said her account went private, "or that her account is kind of gone."

"I kind of got really sad about it because I knew that lately she's been getting bashed heavily by the people who post the watermelon emoji in their bio or use the watermelon emoji quite often in support of Palestine, and it just made me so sad for her because I was like this woman does not deserve any of that," he explained.

"She is going through a family crisis, and she has revealed all that information and shared that with us and people in the comments, I did see people in the comments just bully her to a pulp because she wasn't speaking out on Palestine, so they just assumed that she didn't care and were really going after here, which I guess now has resulting in her taking a break."

Many viewers dropped into the comments to share their frustration on this situation.

"Elyse I absolutely love your content and seeing your posts. We support you Elyse!" one person wrote. Another added, "Elyse is the reason I got into this app, and she does not deserve this."

A video shared by an account that goes by @freepalistine029 in January backs up many creator's thoughts on why Myers took a break from the app.

"Our next person is Elyse Myers. I believe that this person's audience might be the most surprising in a negative way and I want you guys to be mentally prepared for the responses you're gonna get," the woman in the video said. "This person's page is all about inclusivity, kindness, caring about people, empathy as like a brand. But yet, it's crickets on an ongoing Gno-cide."

The video went on to basically task the page's followers to leave comments on Myers' videos about freeing Palestine. She also showed other pages that the group had done this to and the outcomes.

Many of Myers' followers recently left a comment about the video.

"WTH, this is bullying and harassment! You cannot force people to do things for you!" one person wrote in the comments. Another said, "As someone who has been pro Palestine for years what y'all did to a creator who has no influence in world politics is crazy and disgusting."

Another viewer shared, "And now she’s off the app because of people like you."
