Kourtney Kardashian Sparks Complaints With Breast-Pumping Photo

Kourtney Kardashian was confident as she showed the realities of motherhood in a recent Instagram share, but not everyone viewing the photo was pleased. The 44-year-old reality star has been making 2023 and 2024 headlines for both welcoming and starting to raise son Rocky, and this post included the child she shares with her husband Travis Barker. A fan account on Instagram decided to break down the gallery's photos into individual shares, and the snap of the Hulu star with her breast pump seems to have caused a storm.

Posing in a revealing look as she stood in a form-fitting, black bodysuit with the straps lowered, Kourtney drew the eye to her chest as she placed one hand across her bust while also holding a breast pump. Appearing to use the equipment, the reality star looked downward while rocking a pair of pointed-toe mules, with the photo coming amid a baby-heavy gallery of images also showing her and Travis enjoying a walk with Rocky in a stroller.

The fan feed is significant and followed by over 250,000.

"Some things should just stay personal and off social media," one fan replied. "Why!! Nobody needs to watch you pump!!" another fan said. Also gaining likes was a user who exclaimed: "Why? why can’t they wear clothes? They just want to be naked all the time at some pretext or the other .." Kourtney wouldn't be the first celebrity to be mom-shamed for showing a breast-feeding moment. Sadly, for the mother of four, those comments just kept on coming.

"This is all so bizarre to me. I am from old school we didn't do these things, natural or not! Ho hum, anything for money and attention I guess," a further fan said.

Kourtney shared the above photo to her Instagram last month as she rocked a leggy shirt dress while posing with her son in a stroller. "The chaos," she wrote as the gallery revealed snaps of her joining husband Travis on the Australia leg of his tour. Last September, and while pregnant, Kourtney underwent surgery for her unborn child, stating that afterward, she had "a whole new understanding and respect for mamas who have had to fight for their babies while pregnant." She added: "Praise be to God. Walking out of the hospital with my baby boy in my tummy and safe was the truest blessing."

This snap made fans melt as Kourtney posed holding her newborn son. The star shares her first three children with ex-boyfriend Scott Disick. Here, too, though, she faced criticism. "Why not show the baby's face it makes you feel like there's something not right. I'd be proud to show my baby," one fan replied.
