Warning: If you're not currently hungry, you will be after watching Jersey's own Julia Molinari make her signature chicken cutlet recipe.
The content creator, whose family owns Molinari's Italian Restaurant and Catering in Neptune City, New Jersey, recently shared a mouthwatering fried chicken cutlet recipe on TikTok that any level can cook.
Julia Molinari Shares A Delicious Chicken Cutlet Recipe In Viral TikTok Video
Molinari started her TikTok video by declaring, "Today's a very special day." You might be wondering what's so special about today. She then says it's because she's making "Mama Molinari's famous cutlets."
What you'll need to wow your family with this recipe: a pack of chicken breasts, parsley, breadcrumbs, flour, an egg, a dash of milk, and olive oil for frying.
Molinari takes us through the steps starting with opening the pack of chicken. While she's doing this, her cat wants a little bit of the spotlight and watches from nearby. Then her other cat decided to join the party and sneak into the frame. (Got to watch those kitties, because one is a parsley thief!)
After taking the cutlets out of the pack she explains, "Some people wash their cutlets. I'm just gonna pat mine dry," and then demonstrates.
Time To Demonstrate The Process Of Making 'Mama Molinari's Famous Cutlets'!
She then demonstrates how she pounds the cutlets into thinner pieces. Once they are pounded down, it was then time for seasoning with some salt and pepper. Molinari then pulled out some plain, unseasoned breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, and fresh chopped parsley.
"I just have a special addiction to parsley," she said as she added it to her breadcrumb and seasoning mixture.
After dipping the chicken cutlets into some flour, it was time to dip them into a mixture of egg and a splash of milk. Then the cutlets get covered in breadcrumbs just before frying them in some preheated olive oil.
Once the chicken is golden brown on both sides, it's time to take it out of the frying pan and enjoy! Molinari enjoyed a piece of chicken cutlet as is with no other food. They must be THAT good to just enjoy by itself.
