Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann's bills continue to increase amid their divorce as they have to pay a parent fitness evaluator.
The estranged couple's parental skills were questioned when authorities repeatedly resolved heated agreements between them.
To make matters worse, cops were even called by one of their children to their Georgia home, which is facing foreclosure over their financial woes.
A Parental Inspector Will Monitor Kim Zolciak & Kroy Biermann
According to new legal documents, Zolciak and Biermann will have to shell out $5,000 for a parent fitness evaluator. The bill is split between them, meaning they must make a one-time payment of $2,500 for the court-appointed inspector's services.
The evaluator will monitor the embattled exes and their relationship with their four minor children — Kroy Jr., Kash, and twins Kaia and Kane.
The inspector's services reportedly include interviewing Zolciak, Biermann, and their children, visiting their homes, and potential school observations.
The parent fitness evaluator will also consult with professionals who have worked with the family, and they have the right to investigate all aspects of the case.
This means they can access all the duo's records, whether from the Department of Family and Children Services or the kids' school.
Additionally, the inspector can check hospital records and talk to medical providers, authorities, and more about the estranged couple or their children.
Per the legal documents obtained by TMZ, the appointed official can even make copies of these records without Zolciak and Biermann's permission.
The Parent Fitness Evaluation Bill Comes Months After Their Child Called Authorities
As stated, authorities have repeatedly visited the exes' Georgia home, and they were called in November 2023 by one of the duo's children. During the incident, the child dialed 911 following a heated argument between Zolciak and Biermann.
This dramatic fight between the exes marked the third time cops had visited their home. This may be why the court felt it was necessary to employ a parent fitness evaluator to determine if the estranged pair are good parents.
While $5,000 for the evaluation may not seem like much, every penny currently counts for Zolciak and Biermann. Their financial troubles include the foreclosure of their Georgia home, pending lawsuits over unpaid credit card debt, and more.
Given their dire financial situation, the duo tried selling their luxurious home and even reduced the original asking price by $500,000 to attract potential buyers last December.
The Embattled Couple Slash Home's Sale Price To $5,500,000
Zolciak and Biermann initially listed their Georgia mansion for $6 million; however, they could not find interested parties.
To sweeten the deal, the pair reduced the selling price by $500,000 and re-listed the property for $5,500,000 in December 2023.
The move came two months after they placed the two-story, seven-bedroom, and 11-bathroom Milton house on the market.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, Biermann stressed the importance of selling the pair's home amid their financial woes.
"The only asset they currently own with equity is the marital residence. The mortgage is held in the petitioner's name. However, it is set to be foreclosed in November," an excerpt from the filing stated, adding:
"The current living situation is unsustainable and is detrimental to the mental and emotional health of the minor children. If the marital residence is sold, it will afford both parties enough income to secure their residences, thus taking the children out of the toxic environment."

Following the revelation of their financial woes, Zolciak sold items from her luxury collection, including bags, shoes, and jewelry.
The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" alum took things up a notch in February when she sold her skincare line, Kashmere Kollections, to a famous female wellness brand.
The mother of six announced the sale on Instagram, sharing a press release about Tim Sharif's acquisition of her skincare brand through his 310 Nutrition LLC. Surprisingly, the new owner wasn't a stranger to Zolciak and her Kashmere Kollections line.
The sale announcement revealed the TV personality joined Sharif to create her skincare brand in 2016. She also echoed her excitement in passing the leadership torch to him in the post's caption, writing:
"Heartfelt thank you for the incredible loyalty you've shown @kashmerekollections! I can't wait to watch the brand's growth. Here's to your future filled with endless possibilities!"
