Kyle Richards Finally Reveals Reason For Music Video With Morgan Wade

One kiss was all it took to rope Kyle Richards into never-ending speculations about her relationship with country music singer Morgan Wade.

In a teaser clip for part three of “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 13 reunion show, the reality TV star finally addressed why she appeared on the songstress's viral “Fall In Love With Me” music video.

A sneak peek at the upcoming RHOBH episode was shared on X, capturing Richards in a stunning green silk dress as she conversed with reunion host Andy Cohen. He prompted her to discuss her relationship with Wade by reading fan questions.

One individual penned: “I feel like Kyle has a big girl crush on Morgan, but I don't feel it's reciprocated.” Another social media user echoed: “This is the reason Morgan is friends with Kyle, she likes the clout.”

Richards swiftly denied Wade was using her for attention, given her successful music career. However, Cohen argued the Bravo star made the “Wilder Days” singer a “household name” with her appearance in the raunchy music video.

Clearing the air about her viral on-screen kiss with Wade, the socialite confessed it wasn't a romantic move but to sate her curiosity about kissing a woman. In her words:

“I never actually kissed anybody on camera — let alone a woman — or off camera. So I was very nervous and anxious, but if I’m being honest with myself, I was obviously curious in order to say yes.”

Besides her curiosity, Richards stressed that she only participated in the “Fall In Love With Me” music video for a good cause. She agreed to feature in Wade's video after the singer signed up to perform at a mental health awareness event.

This program honored Richards’ late friend Lorene Shea, who died in May 2022. “I didn’t really know the creative behind it until I got there,” she added. As for those who believed her kiss with Wade stemmed from romantic feelings, the 55-year-old shut down these speculations.

Bravo fans may recall the music video for “Fall In Love With Me” was released in August 2023 amid news of Richards’ separation from estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky. Despite the suspicious timing, the socialite claimed the video was filmed a month before the news broke in July.

“The music video was done, I want to say, a month before that story broke about Mo and me,” the RHOBH star explained. “But obviously, once that story came out about Mo and me — we’re not going to make a video after that. We made it before. We already done it.”

During a January appearance on “Jeff Lewis Live,” Richards accused the media of creating romantic rumors with Wade. She claimed they cunningly singled the duo out whenever they were in the company of friends, saying:

“She has a group of friends that I lean on. In the media, they only show Morgan. But she’s part of a group of friends.”

Richards continued, “My first text messages of the day are four different people, but, you know, if I’m walking down the street, having lunch with them, they’re usually cut out of a photo. Usually, they cut my friends out unless it’s Morgan.”

The 55-year-old also addressed a controversial picture of her and Wade sharing a hug and what appeared to be a kiss outside the Glen Center. Instead of the romantic speculations the shot sparked, she explained the pair were simply saying goodbye and nothing more.

A month after Kyle Richards confirmed there were no romantic vibes in her relationship with Wade, she was back, clearing rumors of an alleged rift between them. The “Take Me Away” singer was the first to set the record straight on her Instagram Story.

Wade shared a picture of herself posing with Richards at the Country Music Hall of Fame event in February. For the occasion, she rocked a camo shirt over jeans and black boots. On the other hand, her partner donned a leather jacket with a black graphic T-shirt and complimenting trousers.

“P.S. I am not fighting with @kylerichards18,” the songstress captioned the snap. Richards reposted the post on her IG Story alongside a clap back at rumor mongers, writing: “It was a slow news week apparently.”
