Taylor Swift's mysterious social media blackout is causing widespread panic among fans, and may actually be inspired by a late night run for a Crunchwrap Supreme.

Jozlynn Rush works on Taco Bell's social media team, and in 2014 made headlines when the restaurant chain launched a new mobile app by shutting out all their other social media channels.

Last week Swift wiped her social media accounts and website clean.

The blackout left her 250 million followers in the dark for a few days until she posted snippets of snake videos and announced a new single will drop on Thursday.

Rush immediately made it known that Swift's idea wasn't original, but seemed flattered the pop-star appropriated her idea.
