Serena Williams will be serving up a lot of love: she’s now a mother!
According to a producer from WPBF in West Palm Beach, FL, Williams gave birth Friday afternoon to a baby girl weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces.

Before her match on Friday, Serena’s sister Venus was asked by ESPN about becoming an aunt, to which she said, “Obviously, I’m super excited. Words can’t describe.”
Serena’s tennis coach, Patrick Mouratoglou, tweeted his congratulations, saying, “Congratulations @SerenaWilliams for your baby girl. I am so happy for you and I feel your emotion. Recover well & enjoy without limitation.”

Earlier in the day, CBS12 in Florida reported that Williams checked into the hospital on Wednesday and had the entire first floor cleared.
The baby is the first for the tennis legend with her fiancé, Reddit founder Alex Ohanian.
The couple were engaged on December 29, 2016.
