The Royal Family 'Desperately Needs' Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Amid King Charles & Kate's Health Crisis

A royal biographer believes Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would have been "vital players" in the royal family if they had not stepped down as working royals.
Experts believe the couple's exit from the royal family is now being felt more than ever due to King Charles II's cancer treatment and Kate Middleton's absence amid her recovery from abdominal surgery.
As both senior royals remain sidelined due to health issues, there has been an outcry for the monarchy to be more transparent with details.
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Could Have Been 'Vital Players'
As the monarchy struggles for stability following King Charles' recent cancer diagnosis and Kate's recovery from abdominal surgery, a royal author has suggested that things would have been different if the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had not quit their working royal roles.
"This is a slimmed-down monarchy in the ways the King could never have anticipated. This puts into much sharper focus what a terrible mistake it was for Harry to leave," royal biographer Sally Bedell Smith told People Magazine. "If he and Meghan had stayed in Britain and stuck with their jobs, they could be very vital players right now."
Harry and Meghan left their roles as working royals and have since moved to the United States, where they live with their children, with another author claiming that the monarchy appears to need Harry at this point.
"They desperately need him, and nobody could have foreseen the set of circumstances that would expose that so dramatically," Catherine Mayer, the author of "Charles: The Heart of a King," added.
Public Outcry For Transparency From Monarchy Intensifies
With little information available about the nature of Charles and Kate's health scares, fans have called for the royals to be more transparent.
According to People, Smith and Mayer also lamented the fragility and uncertainty that has befallen the monarchy just 19 months after Queen Elizabeth's death in September 2022.
"Everybody feels unsettled by uncertainty, and there is too much uncertainty that is surrounding the monarchy right now," Smith said. "Queen Elizabeth used to say, 'I need to be seen to be believed.' It is important for Charles and his reign for the public to know a little bit more."
The Monarchy Needs To Be That Anchor
Smith added that the monarchy "needs to be that anchor in times of trouble, and any sense of instability, which is inevitable when you have two of the key players out of action, is understandable."
She alleged that although the King shared he has "a form of cancer," that news has done "nothing to quell the speculation about how seriously ill he may or may not be," adding that it isn't doing the monarchy "any favors," as Charles is the "head of state, and there are constitutional implications."
On her part, Mayer said the situation "is massively exposing how the royal family has gone from too many people to too few in a short space of time."
Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Are Allegedly Worried About 'Brand Sussex'
According to The Mirror, another royal expert believes Harry and Meghan's marriage may be heading towards troubled waters if he loses his royal status and title.
Following their relocation to the U.S., the pair have scampered to broker huge deals for their brand, including with Netflix and Spotify, and are seemingly finding it hard to keep the American public's interest.
Royal author Tom Quinn claimed that losing their royal status "will damage brand Sussex" and could mean "there is a chance Meghan may also lose interest" in Harry, which might spell doom for their marriage.
"Harry and Meghan are beginning to worry that if their children don't have a relationship with the U.K. and, by extension, with the Royal family, they will damage brand Sussex," Quinn shared.
He continued, "Surveys already show that America is losing interest in the couple, and they both know that Harry's only real selling point, his only real brand value, is that he's a royal, so he knows he's going to have to build bridges with the working royals or America will lose interest in him, and if America loses interest, there is a chance Meghan may also lose interest in him."
A Dominatrix Threatened To Release Prince Harry's Lewd Photos
Besides the health issues plaguing the royal family, a former stripper, Carrie Royale, recently threatened to release lewd photos of Harry from their infamous night at a private hotel in Las Vegas.
Royale claimed that she and a group of strippers were invited to the private suite of the Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas in 2012, where she met Harry and engaged in raunchy games, including strip billiards and a drunken fumble.
She noted that they had a "nice little smooch" but confirmed that they didn't go deeper into having s-.
"There were no opportunities to go further. When men drink, in my experience, there's not really a lot going on down there," she said, per the Daily Mail. "I had some liquid courage from alcohol, and he did as well, and I just had a nice little smooch with him."
She had threatened to release the nude photos of the prince on her OnlyFans account because Harry failed to mention her in his 2023 blockbuster memoir, Spare. Her account has now been banned from the platform, as a spokesperson said that it was so because she was "threatening to share non-consensual intimate images."
