When Bunnie is not actively staying away from work, she is living it up with her husband, Jelly Roll, whom she first met during one of his concerts in 2015.

Although they started as platonic friends after the Las Vegas show, they soon began dating after Jelly Roll shacked up at Bunnie's residence while filming a music video.

One year into the relationship, the "Wild Ones" hitmaker popped the big question at a Yelawolf and Deftones concert in Las Vegas. Despite already shocking the world with that move, Bunnie and her man took things further by eloping later that night.

Their love has continued growing over the years, with Jelly Roll often effusing to anyone who cares to listen to the impact of his wife on his life. He asserted during a 2023 interview:

Amid the celebratory atmosphere, it is worth noting that Bunnie, real name Alyssa DeFord, is not the only person who made a noticeable change in her life. As reported by The Blast, her beau has also made significant progress after leaving his drug addiction behind.

Jelly Roll has grown so much that he now utilizes his platform to raise awareness about the fentanyl epidemic.

Earlier this year, he participated in a hearing titled "Stopping the Flow of Fentanyl: Public Awareness and Legislative Solutions," where he provided testimony urging lawmakers to enact anti-fentanyl legislation.

He later expressed concern about the possibility of any substance being laced with fentanyl, mainly because of the potential danger it poses to his children. On that, the "Bottle and Mary Jane" singer disclosed during an interview:

"We've seen crack. We've seen cocaine. We've seen opioids. But we've never seen something that is so deadly in such small amounts that's being mixed in so many different things."

Jelly Roll believes that to address the ongoing issue with drugs, the first step is to discuss the problem openly. In his words:

"I think opening conversations about some of this stuff is the beginning of healing, right? A lot of problems we have in America is that we just don't openly talk about the s— that's really happening the way we should. It's kind of like once you break the ice and put them on the table, then can't ignore it much longer after that."
