Entrepreneur Elon Musk announced on Wednesday that he will not donate money to either U.S. Presidential Candidate in what appears to be another race between former President Donald Trump and current President Joe Biden.
The Tesla CEO, who has been outspoken about his political views on social media, made the announcement the day after Super Tuesday, in which Donald Trump swept a majority of states.

Amid rumors that he would be donating money to likely Republican candidate Donald Trump, Elon Musk took to X, the social media platform he rebranded from Twitter, in order to set the record straight.
"Just to be super clear, I am not donating money to either candidate for US President," he tweeted. Although there were numerous comments asking who he would vote for in the upcoming Presidential election, Musk chose not to respond.

Instead, he followed up his message with a caption reading, "The power of government grows ever stronger with each passing year." It was placed over a quote from Frank Herbert’s “Dune,” reading, “All governments suffer a recurring problem: Power attracts pathological personalities. It is not that power corrupts but that it is magnetic to the corruptible.”
Nikki Haley Suspends Her Campaign Following Donald Trump Super Tuesday 'Win'
After several defeats, including in her home state of South Carolina, Nikki Hayley suspended her campaign after announcing that she was suspending her campaign. Shortly after her announcement, current U.S. President Joe Biden welcomed her supporters to vote for him in the upcoming election.
“Donald Trump made it clear he doesn’t want Nikki Haley’s supporters. I want to be clear: There is a place for them in my campaign,” Biden said in a statement, as per CNN. “It takes a lot of courage to run for President – that’s especially true in today’s Republican Party, where so few dare to speak the truth about Donald Trump. Nikki Haley was willing to speak the truth about Trump: about the chaos that always follows him, about his inability to see right from wrong, about his cowering before Vladimir Putin.”
On his social media platform, Truth Social, Donald Trump made his own remarks about Haley’s suspended campaign. “Nikki Haley got TROUNCED last night, in record-setting fashion, despite the fact that Democrats, for reasons unknown, are allowed to vote in Vermont, and various other Republican Primaries,” Trump wrote. “Much of her money came from Radical Left Democrats, as did many of her voters, almost 50%, according to the polls. At this point, I hope she stays in the ‘race’ and fights it out until the end!”
“I’d like to thank my family, friends, and the Great Republican Party for helping me to produce, by far, the most successful Super Tuesday in HISTORY, and would further like to invite all of the Haley supporters to join the greatest movement in the history of our Nation,” he continued, adding, “BIDEN IS THE ENEMY, HE IS DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
